I'm at the Coyaba too...who did you use, if you don't mind me asking?? You can PM me your response, if you like! Thanks!

Hi

Just realised that I had opened a whole new thread, unsur ehow to delete it... Anyhow I wanted to join in the discussion. I too am in contact with Almaire from TWJ and she seems very professional and informative. I am still toying with the beach ceremony they provide and the villa package as we may hire a private villa for our ceremony and reception. Has anybody seen or used the Montego Bay beach setting provided by TWJ? @Princess J it would be great if you could update us with information about how your wedding went (hope it goes all to plan and is a fantactic day for you all), my ceremony will be late July 2011.

Thanks

Chan

I've been looking for a while, and I've tried talking to numerous hotels and resorts about Wedding questions, they were all really really slow to respond, then I used google just thinking I would check out some people not associated with the resorts and found Almarie.  After the people I have dealt with she has been a breathe of fresh air.  I am no longer stressed about my wedding.  I am sending in my deposit today.  We're staying at the Rose Hall Hilton in Montego Bay, so we've only got the Montego Bay beach option, but I can't wait, from her website Almarie has great taste, lots of options, very reasonable pricing, and well I like that she gets back to you so quickly.  The people at Hilton have been less than helpful.  The Ritz got back to me quickly, but their group discount wasn't very good for my quests, so we decided to go with Hilton for accommodations.  I'll make sure to post again after the wedding, right now we're set for April 1 2011. :-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
