I hope so Amy. This was the hardest decision by far to make. I thought the venue would be the roughest, but photog shopping was way worse.

Thanks for refering me to her too!

Thanks for your help : )
Paulina does not have a website, most pics on thedazzlingdetails are her shots, they state the photogs name on the bottom right (ie Puerto Vallarta Wedding Coordinator - The Dazzling Details)

Here's a wedding she did.

I attached a price list (a long time ago) on this thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...tographer.html

I think this may also be compiled in this list (attached). It has price info from photogs I've contacted or other girl's were able to foward me.

No problem! I was waiting for her website to run before we made our decision, but it turned up more than a month later and we had alread signed a contract with our current photog. Oh well! I'm not going to think about it anymore...

This was very difficult!

Photog shopping is definitely the most stressful after venue and dress! I'm considering Beth Lloyd also. The price she quoted me was quite reasonable, I think. All day coverage at Las Caletas for $1800. 500+ pictures on a DVD, but no prints though. It's funny, originally, I didn't want to spend more than $800 on a photog, but after seeing everyone's gorgeous photos, I decided to splurge a little.

Oh, and Beth will be in LA for a few days next month and I scheduled an engagement session with her. She's charging an extra $300 for this. Hopefully it all goes well!

Amy, thanks for all of the helpful information. Paula's photogs are beautiful, but I think comparable to Elizabeth L.'s so I'd probably choose her. Its nice though to be able to find out all of this info beforehand.

As for finding a photographer, I was in the same boat--not wanting to spend a lot, but seeing all of these beautiful photos being posted, its really encouraged me to reprioritize! Thanks for all the info sharing and help!!

How exciting!!! If I would have known, or would've been a little more patient, I would have waited to meet Beth too (I'm in L.A.)

I'm really excited about my photog though, so I know I won't regret it..

No problem... thats what this forum is about! Share it all! (If you have any referrals to affordable florist, hair stylist, and transportation providers, I will greatly appreciate it, haha!)

I'm sooo excited too! She'll be here Aug. 3-8, and we're scheduled to do our session on Aug. 5. Now I'm wondering what I should wear and where we should go to do the photos. Ahh... the stressing never ends!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
