Hey Heather82,

 

Mayte does not make the Thank you notes that you see in pictures however, I will tell you that I was going to go through the trouble of making them and then realized that it would be a big waste of time because guests will not really appreciate them seeing as we were giving them wedding gifts at the rehearsal dinner. I did buy fans and what not to put on everyone's chair and when the night was said and done most people were so preoccupied with dancing/drinking that most people left the fans and/or anything else that was decorative and not their personal items.

 

So with all of that said, I would recommend you save yourself the time/stress and not bother with them. Mayte makes the lovely menus and they serve as decoration enough for each plate. But this is totally up to you :)

When I visited the JF, mayte gave me a quote, but it was literally the same #s as are seen in the price list multiplied by the number of people we thought we would have, so if you have the pricelist, you should pop some of those numbers in Excel and you will have a great idea of the costs.

Has anyone heard from Mayte lately? I have a Bride and Groom leaving on Tuesday for the Dominican for their Wedding and I have not heard back from Mayte. The Bride and Groom really would like the final invoice so they can plan how much "cash" they need for payment and most importantly when they are meeting her to go over details of the Wedding that takes place on Jan 18th and give her the payment.

 

I sent all the completed forms as well as a list of final questions last Monday (December 30th) - and havnt heard back

 

Im worried I wont hear back from her before the bride and groom are leaving.....ahhhhhhhhh

There was a guy on the facebook group (from Jellyfish) that was responding to Bridal concerns right after Mayte's tragedy. Perhaps contact him?

1. For the cocktail hour, dinner, and open bar, is the cost per person?

2. If anyone has gotten married already, can you tell me what you did as far as open bar? How long did you have it for?

Also, can anyone get into details as to exactly what was provided as far as decorations and what brides brought with for their wedding?  The pictures are just gorgeous and I am wondering if Mayte really does all of the decorating to the very last detail.

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
