For those of you who are interested in knowing if there will a brand new bridal room at the Jellyfish, got confirmation from Mayte yesterday that they are indeed building one and should be ready November 2013.

 

This is great news for those of us who want to avoid paying crazy vendor fees...we can now get ready at the Jellyfish bridal room :) (which is different than the office that some brides currently use)

Thank you for the update on the bridal room! yay! That makes me super happy- I was really worried about getting ready at the hotel and the outside vendor fees---- any suggestions from past/ fufture brides on a good hairstylist/ makeup artist? I am getting married may 8th 2014.. and I have some crazy hair when its humid! I dont generally wear makeup- but i want to for pictures sake... HELP!!!!

Thanks for the info!!!! This is great news. That's like one stressor taken off the list of worries.
morning everyone! Mayte is so busy right now! I got an email back last week confirming my day and when i emailed her back asking what the process is...she hasnt msged me back. Im a little worried because i want to send a deposit because i want to have that date for sure. Has anyone recently booked their wedding at the jellyfish and knows what they need to do next? send a deposit? im getting a little stressed and confused now lol. But from all the reviews i read about the jellyfish dont have me worried too much i think my day will be perfect.
She just emailed me this morning. I had emailed her last week. I'm sure she'll reply to you as well very soon. Don't worry too much, from what I've read as well, Mayte will take good care of us. The deposit is a minimum of $500 and she'll email you the bank deposit information. Good luck!

Hello Ladies,

 

I'm so excited I finally confirmed my wedding date for July 11, 2014 (day after you Mairelys).

 

I am trying to estimate how much I should expect to spend based on 50 guests. Would any past bride that had 50 or so guests be willing to share how much was their total cost?

We've worked with Krystie Ann on many weddings and she is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough great things about her!! If she's available, I wouldn't think twice about booking her!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
