Jellyfish Restaurant

Recommended Posts

Hi

I got legally married at the Jellyfish restaurant April 3rd 2013.  I still have yet to receive my wedding certificate.  I was wondering whether any past brides have had this experienced, or been legally married there themselves??

I obviously arranged the wedding with Mayte, who liaised with the judges prior to the wedding for me and sorted out the date and time.  I was assured by herself that she would obtain the wedding certificate once it was prepared and forward it on to me.  She did tell me it can take up to 6 months.

I have been emailing Mayte since November and received conflicting emails, but assured i would receive it soon.  Sent a recent email, but still awaiting her reply.

As I do not speak spanish I can not ring the judges office to see whats happening :(  Feel stuck to be honest.

Hi all,

I've been in contact with Jellyfish for my May 2015 wedding but so far an individual by the name of Isaac Duran has been emailing me. Most people refer to Mayte as their point of contact for Jellyfish so I just wanted to make sure that Isaac is in fact an employee, etc.

Thanks!!

Hello ladies!

Does anyone have the current Jellyfish banking info they could send to me directly?

Also, for the brides mentioning other individuals such as an Isaac I would recommend confirming that with Mayte. The reason I say this is because I've been planning for two years and I've never dealt with anyone but her.

Also, for those of you working with Mayte I would suggest keeping all of your emails to her in one string going back and forth. She is so busy and gets 100+ emails a day and in the past I've received conflicting emails from her when I didn't include the history of the conversation so I would cover yourselves and keep ALL correspondence. She does impeccable work from what I've seen and read however with so many brides I'm sure it's easy to get confused.

I booked my date and deposit through Isaac and had the same concern as well. I emailed Mayte later on with some questions, and she was able to confirm the booking I had made with Isaac.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
