Has anyone else heard from Mayte lately?  I've been trying to confirm that they received my deposit and my date is officially booked, but I haven't been able to get an email back in two weeks.  She usually responds quickly and my reception is June 18th...YIKES!

Hey ladies,

I haven't heard back from Mayte either - and I emailed her back on May 10th. I did notice however on their Facebook page that another person is responding to comment on their page. This is the last post I saw with a NEW email address:

Hello , you can contac directly via phone to our wedding coordinator,Maite. 809/307/7361 also you can email to jellyfishbavaro@hotmail.com thats my direct mail address, gabriel.

I've seen this Gabriel person respond to a lot of messages on FB, so maybe we could get through to Mayte by getting through to Gabriel, LOL.

All is well. Mayte contacted me to today to confirm we're all set.  She said she took a little time off to get some rest.  She said she's been super busy with weddings, but she's back and re-energized.  My wedding on the 18th so I'll be sure to post pics.

Hi Ladies!

I just got back Thursday from my wedding at the Jellyfish that was on May 27th.  I can't even to begin to stress enough how unbelievable Mayte is.  She is such a wonderful woman with a big heart.  She is so busy with all of us that she doesn't even have a lot of time to spend with Luna, her new baby...  My wedding was even more perfect and beautiful that I had imagined that it would be.  Mayte went above and beyond my expectations, creating the beach wedding of my dreams.  I will post a compete review with pictures in a couple of days, I promise :)  If any of you have questions in the mean time please feel free to message me, megsosborn7@gmail.com.

Megan

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
