You might have to check with the other parish, Jesus Maestro and see if they do weddings on a Sunday.

I'm pretty sure that you have to find someone yourself. We are using Pastor York for our symbolic wedding and from what I have been reading from the other brides here, there is another Pastor who has been refered by Pator York as well. I am sorry that I don't know his name off hand. If anything, you can ask Mayte for a list of available officiates.

Make sure you also account for the fact that the decorations price given is higher when the guest amount is over 50.

Thank you so much... I did not factor that in. Sigh.

Sorry for the super delay (this week has been a bit nutty), but thank you so much for replying to my message. My email is rachel.assad@gmail.com ... I am still nervous about the upcoming invoice and know that Mayte will probably not be able to give me a tentative invoice until June, which I know will not be enough time for me to get things together if I am too far off. I appreciate your help sooooooo much.

Hey Ladies, I haven't spent much time thinking about my hair and make-up but with the wedding quickly approaching the time has come. We are staying at the Majestic Colonial the week of July 13-20th and our wedding is on the 15th. My original plan was to just let the people at the resort do my hair and I would do my own makeup but after some thought I am wondering if I shouldn't just hire someone. So with that said I am hoping that you wonderful ladies could help to guide me by sharing your ideas, who you are using and whether hiring someone is an expensive venture. I will be the only one in my wedding party getting my hair and make-up done so I have a ton of flexibility. Can't wait to hear from all of you :)

I requested January 24th, 2014 because the priest who's supposed to marry us was available at 3pm, which was perfect for us. I was informed yesterday that now he's only available at 1pm, which I don't like. So now my fiance wants to have it on January 23rd, because the priest is available at 3pm. I asked Mayte if that day was available but she didn't tell me...she only said that January 24th was still available...i wonder if I'm allowed to change the date of the ceremony after sending the deposit...and i haven't even looked at drink and food choices yet... :S...

Yes! We got hard copies of the trailer and all the raw footage too! All for $500 I think? He posted or video in the fb page back in November if you want to search for it.

Tha Mimiq, quick question for you... For the highlight trailer , were you able to get a hard copy of it? Thanks :)

    • The cooking method can double the calorie content of a meal, so learn about healthy cooking without having to add extra fats, like using a steamer,  a rotisserie , a slow cooker , a pressure cooker, a grill. Once you cook your own meals, you can control the calorie content because your control the cooking method and all the ingredients. A lot of people are overweight because they keep eating food that they did not cook.
    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
