We had 70 people and our ceremony decor was $650 and reception decor was $750 (or vice versa, i can't quite remember).  That gets you so much more than the resort though!  It's basically everything that you want.  I even changed to fresh flowers on the tables at the end and Mayte didn't even change my quote.  And that would have been unbelievably expensive at my resort (ME)!

I wore a veil.  It was a super last minute decision, but i was really happy that i did!  It wasn't crazy windy that day, but it looks great blowing in the wind!

Hi I am starting to plan my wedding in June we are staying at Dreams Palm Beach. We have a smaller group maybe 12 people. I have not heard back from the jellyfish yet. Anyone have information about prices and such? Also do they ever just have a band or dj playing not part of weddding? Thanks julielynn83@aol.com

Hi All,  I am staying at the Majestic Elegance and was wondering if any of who stayed there planned a group excursion with your guests?  We didn't want to pay up front for anything, so our travel agent suggested that we all just book when we get there.  I was just wondering if anyone had success with booking a group snorkeling last minute at the resort itself when you were down there.

Thanks!

Happy New Year brides!

My wedding is fast approaching...2 months to go!

Wondering if anyone has come up with an itinerary for the day for those brides that will be doing both the ceremony and reception at the Jellyfish Restaurant.  My ceremony starts at 4:30 and I'm just wondering how to plan the evening out.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
