Hey Ladies,

Anyone out there here currently planning or who recently had their wedding at jellyfish. I'm having my wedding there November this year and hoping to hear how the planning is going or hear feedback from past brides.

Cheers!

I am currently planning a Wedding at the JellyFish for February 2017. I just got my quote back for 70 people in at about $19,000! Ouch!

Anyone have advice for dealing with the Jellyfish? I know that they run on Island time but man it takes forever to hear back. We waited a month for a quote!

Hey, @@abeautyandthebusiness, yes they definitely run on island time, especially if your wedding is in 2017.  I'm getting married there in November and its still difficult to get a quick response. The best thing to do is be patient. They have weddings essentially every day during the high season, which is now.  But they are quicker to respond than the resorts, in my opinion.

Also if you have a burning questions, just be persistent, you may have to send a follow up email if you don't hear back.  Also you may find it helpful to use the time now to focus on other aspects of the wedding, clothing, invitations, save the dates, etc. You have a ton of time so try not to get to frustrated about their slow response.

We are staying at the Grand Palladium and having the ceremony at Jellyyfish

That's what we have decided on as well :-) very excited for the JF!

I feel like we will have more options and the privacy is a great bonus that we would like to honour our special day with.

Hi there!

I've had my eye on Jellyfish for a LONG time! Looking to get married there in July/August 2016. Isaac sent me the pricing within a day of requesting it so I haven't had any issues with that. Let me know if you'd like me to send it to you.

I'm having a hard time choosing a resort! There are so many to choose from and they all look pretty similar. Any recommendations? I've attempted getting in contact with a travel agency but haven't heard back yet.

Have any of you booked photographers yet? I really like Katya Nova's style but I have a feeling they are going to be expensive.

Looking forward to following this thread :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
