Jellyfish Restaurant

Recommended Posts

Excited booked for Nov 2013. Has anyone had their wedding at Jellyfish but stayed in the Hardrock?
That is what we are planning to do for our wedding in May 2014! How has the planning been going for you? We are doing a site inspection in June to put all the pieces together. Have you gotten rates from the Hard Rock yet? I'm a little nervous to see what it will be! As far as Jellyfish, have you selected a menu and decor with Mayte already? Please share details!

I'm May 2014 too, but still unconfirmed for my hotel location and the reception.  Hopefully, I get a response from Mayte soon just so I know the date is available.  I know she's super busy.  I reached out to Iberostar so hopefully I can get that set too.  So much to do!

May is in the house. :) I'm getting married in May 2014 too.

Anyway, we had the opportunity to visit Punta Cana and met with Mayte while there. She is very willing to work with your budget. She will tell you where you can get the most bang for your buck depending on your vision for your wedding and what is the first thing you might want to scrap if you are budget conscious.

That's so great to hear! I am doing a site inspection in June and hope everything will be squared away by then. Did you pick out decor, menu, and beverage choices yet? If you did, please share! I am really trying to decide, of course I want the best items, but everything is really starting to add up fast!

Hey K!

Well I haven't decided on the menu yet because I'm waiting to see how many people are finally going.  Regarding the Hard Rock Im working with a travel agent to give me a good deal on rooms.  I will definitely let you know what prices she is getting for me.  I'm really backed up on my planning but Im hoping everything turns out great.  Ive stayed at the Hard Rock and thats why I decided to do it there, i absolutely loved it. Right now the rooms are $400 a night for 2 people. Waiting on my travel agent.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
