Mady - I just deposited the money into the BOA account and it ended up being fine, but I wouldn't recommend it because the BOA deposit slips don't have a tracking number like other banks. If you don't have BOA I would just pay the exta fee and transfer directly through your bank for peace of mind (I wish I would have just done that).

Thank you ladies for the responses. I was worried about not having enough confirmation in case something went wrong. So I guess I will just do a transfer, like you ladies said.

sdj327 - I am still working on the menu options. I have read on a few posts that if you don't have too many people you can do a la carte for the menu. We are considering this option, because it might be cheaper than going by a set menu.

Did you choose your own travel agent or is everyone shop around for the best deals?

Hey Ladies :)  So I have been trying to get ahold of Mayte for a couple weeks. She sent me an email 2 weeks and was going to get back to me the next day and hasn't yet.  I a bit concerned, do you think everything is ok?

has anyone else been in  contact with her recently??

meekins - Last time she contacted me was last week. At first I was getting responses quickly and now it's taking longer. I think she might just be busy. Maybe if this upcoming week you don't hear anything, you can email her again.

Hi ladies! I am looking to get married in February 2014, I know its kind of early but is anyone else looking to get married around that same time? I definitely want to have my ceremony + reception at the Jellyfish and am looking at having either Phil Steingard or Michael Steingard as one of the photographers. Let me know! :) Thanks!

Hey ladies wondering if any of you could post your wedding day timeline. We are staying at Dreams Palm Beach and our ceremony begins at 4:30 at the Jellyfish.  I'm trying to figure out when to schedule our hair appts for the day of. We are not doing a first look but I'd like to get some pictures down at the pool/ beach with the bridesmaids and myself before we get ready and still have plenty of time to relax and do our makeup and take pictures back in the room, so if any of you have ideas of time frames I'd greatly appreciate any and all help in the matter. Thanks!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
