We did this a month before the wedding...at first, it was hard but it got easier. DH had a harder time with it because he wasn't doing any exercise videos before. I have been a Jillian Michael fan so it was easier on me! We did see some results. We will start again on month 2 god knows when? lol. I love this workout!

For those of you who have done p90x.... My friend just gave me his discs. What equipment should i get to do the program and is there a specific order to do the discs in? I am average weight/height.. not in shape lol. I am sort of nervous because every single person that has told me about p90x has said that they havent been able to even finish one workout. Is this true? I need to do somthing... not only do i want to get fit for my wedding, but my FI and i are going to a wedding in CA next month and he is the BM and his EX from 7 years ago is the MOA... Great... it should be fun! haha

About P90X - There is a classic rotation and a lean rotation. You can find the workout order on google. You need a set of hand weights (or resistance bands) and a pull-up bar (but i'm not getting one and will just skip that part).

I haven't done them all yet, but they're definitely doable because they show variations and recommend that you go at your own pace. They are pretty lengthy workouts though.

Jessica ~ You can def finish a P90X work out! Just tailor the workout to meet your needs :) I would recommend starting with the lean routine to get you into the program. Or pop in CardioX because it actually combines several of the longer workouts and gives you a good feel for the overall program if you want to start small.

Really the only thing you "must" have is something for the weights and something for the pull ups - we bought resistance bands and they come with an over the door attachment and Tony shows you how to use them for pull ups. We graduated to weights and a real pull up bar once we figured out that we liked the program. A nice yoga mat and block will help as well, but not mandatory.

Good luck!!

Di ~ No wonder you looked so amazing in your pics! You totally rocked that dress! And don't worry about taking a break... you're still in the honeymoon phase and deserve some down time. You should make R do the JM work outs with you when you start again LOL :)

I did the cardio plyometric circuit last night and OMG! It was crazy! But I felt so good afterwards! I could definitely see how this would help lose weight/tone up! Especially with all the core body moves/lunges/squats, etc. My *ss is going to look awesome!!! woot.gif

Just wanted to post the Insanity Workout Schedule and Fit Test with diagrams with the different moves. It's a great pdf version to print out...feels good to put a big X when you complete a day!.

I have "hand me down" DVD's so I didn't have this and thought I would share in case anyone else needed it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
