They were both amazing to work with! You're in good hands! Good luck with all of your planning cheers.gif

Yay! That's so fun that you're getting married on the same day next year!

It was never super windy in the evenings. Some nights there was a bit of a breeze but it was always refreshing since it was so hot! The weather was absolutely perfect when we were there with the exception of one windy day the day before the wedding (but it was still hot and sunny) and one night where it rained for about 20min at 9pm.

I'm sending you good vibes so that you have the same weather we did!!!

Thank you so much for your review, it is helping me out so much in the planning stages.

I do have a small question for you - How much did your guests pay for their trip per person ? I've contacted a couple airlines and they're quoting me like $1700-1800 pp which I find a bit ridiculous considering I went to this resort back in 2008 and paid no more than $1000. I realize that the prices must have went up since then - but just want to see what I should expect as reasonable from a departure flight from Ottawa.

I'm sooooo sorry that it took me so long to get back to you! I've been travelling a lot and I was in Africa with little access to the internet!

I'm sure that you've already figured out your prices but our guests paid $1694 per person (taxes included). Still pretty high but it was peak season when we went. I guess it all depends on what month you're travelling in. We didn't really see a price drop any closer to the wedding either so I guess that the resort is just charging more now.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
