I love Bikram classes also, but they are very expensive in the NYC area.

        anyone in toronto: try MOKSHA.
        it's great.
i was once a comp. gymnast in my prime (LOL) and hate slow things too (like amy said). but you lose lbs quick.

just remember to say hydrated! drink lots of water. plus, adding lemon (or orange slices) to water helps. cuts fat!

Ok, I decided to commit to yoga once again... I signed up for the 4 months unlimited Moksha yoga classes. I went to the beginner session today to brush up and I feel great! =)

Ok, so I have 3 Moksha classes under my belt and I'm considering trying the 30 day challenge for April. Am I crazy? Probably... anyone else thinking of doing a 30 day challenge?

OMG I read this thread and decided to try Bikram- I am hooked! I went Saturday, Monday and going again today! It's def a little pricey (135 unlimited month) but I love it.

What is the 30 day challenge Renee?

Oh yeah and FI went with me and loved it just as much. We're both going to start going regularly

                Hey LadyTrunck,

                That's awesome!

The 30-day challenge is something Moksha yoga does -- if you attend any class consecutively for 30 days, you get 1 month for free, plus a chance to win other stuff. And if you miss a day, you can do two sessions on another day to make it up. But oh my god, I don't know if I can do EVERY day! I am still a newbie.... but I love it!

I tried it at Moksha Yoga here and I really liked it but the 45 min drive each way has deterred me from going back. I wish they had one a little closer to me!

I heard from my hot yoga instructor that you burn on average 600 cal/hr with hot yoga. Whoa! I wonder if this is true? All I know is I have been doing it 3 times a week for 3 weeks and already lost 1/2 inch off my thighs. Whoop!
