I need a photographer in PV....any recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Couldn't agree more with using Jillian Mitchell and Elizabeth Lloyd, they are both excellent choices, super helpful, and very professional.  Both great friends of mine.

I always feel that the most important thing when picking a photographer other than their body of work is their personality.  Does it mesh with yours?

I can tell you that from a photographer's perspective it's super important to me that I attract the kind of clients that will mesh well with my outgoing and creative personality.  And in the end, this will affect the outcome of the photos.  Finding clients who are also super-positive, outgoing, and have a strong sense of self is really important to me because I know my style of photography thrives and is at it's best in that environment.

Hope this helps!

We are using Diana Flores........She offers different packages at very reasonable rates, we're getting married at Le Kliff in February and she came highly recommended........great packages under $1,000.00....she has a website where you can view her work as well....can't remember it off hand but if you google her name it should pop up....good luck!!!!!

I ended up deciding to fly someone in, but if I was going to use someone in PV, it would have been Eva Sica with Photoshoot Vallarta (http://www.photoshootsvallarta.com/search/label/Boda%20%7C%20Wedding or www.tande.mx)

I believe it is either a husband or brother she works with. They have very reasonable packages that include albums, TTD, and second photographer (like less than 2000). They also have a makeup artist and videographer that they work with. It seems their background is in high fashion/commercial, but they have done a few weddings. They are from Latvia but live in PV and know a whole bunch of languages, including Spanish. She seemed sweet when I talked with her and I heard good things about her, hope this helps!

I emailed a couple PV photogs and the two who got back to me within a day were Karla Benitez and Eva Sica. Both were super helpful and are very reasonably priced. We ended up booking with Karla since she's photographed at my venue before so my WC is familiar with her. But definitely check their work out:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
