Breezes Trelawny Bride

Recommended Posts

Hello Sara3014,

I am getting married there August 20, 2010 so its coming up. I will let you know how it is when I et back. There are not any brides on here to look at any reviews. But it has to start some where haha. From what I read about the location from trip advisor is that the rooms are mostly dated but that doesnt concern me. Breezes just took over in November it use to be Starfish so there are probably a lot of things that need updating, but I think it will still be a good place for a wedding but as I stated I will let you know when I get back. The WC has been very good at responding back I only had just a few times where I had to e-mail twice to get an answer. I hope this helps some. I picked it mostly because we have two kids and I think it would be good for the kids and were having a small wedding 15 total. If you have some genernal questions about things just let me know and I can see if I can answer it.

Thanks for your reply, Sax Lady! Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Yes, I would love to hear how it goes. We picked this resort b/c we are inviting lots of family that have kids and want to give them the option to bring their kids. The resort seems like it is great for kids. The response from the wedding coordinators has been good (much better than other resorts) and the rates are very affordable. We plan to move to a more "romantic" resort in Negril for the honeymoon after the wedding when our guests leave.

Your welcome, Yeah were just staying from wed-sun and then we are going to go to another hotel we havent figured out where yet because FI is from there but were thinking somewhere in Runaway bay or Ochi. Well I'm glad there is another bride for this resort maybe it will be more.

Congrats, i just so excited that I am not the only bride at this resort now. I think I like the gazebo because you still get the beach feel without random people around and from pictures that I saw the backdrop of the beach behind you is very nice. Also just wanted to add for all getting married here that you can review some pictures from the photographers on facebook under Picture perfect by superclubs. I know I was nervous about this part because you have to use their people but they take really good pictures I think its just because this is who they have a contract with so they dont want outside photographers.  But I will defeintly make sure I do a review now especially since their are some that can relate. haha I didnt think their would ever be anyone on this forum that was getting married here but now i'm glad their is.

I was so torn on a few place but I realized I was running out of time so I just decided to go ahead and book it.

Good point on keeping distance from random people and thank you for the tip on the photographer. I just reserved my date last week, the date I had wanted was already taken so there must be a few weddings there.

Hi Breezes Trelawny Brides!

We have our wedding booked now too - it will be on January 15th at 3pm. I chose the Gazebo, but I think when we get there, talk to the wedding coordinator and look at the spots, we can make our final decision. We also reserved the reception room for that night. We are inviting 180, so not sure how many will actually come! Sax Lady - your big day is coming up quickly! I hope your ceremony and celebration are perfect! Keep us in the loop! Congrats!

@court39 yes there seems to be wedding there but its not as popular as other resorts so I dont think they have that many.

@sara3014 yeah I will look at the other spots too but my FI wanted a beach wedding and I think this is the perfect spot so its not right on the beach. I had saw a video on youtube that had a few different locations one was a garden spot my mom liked that but I didnt but as you said it might be different once there. We are having are recpetion in one of the resturants I think its casablanca because its just going to be 15 total so i didnt see the need to have a private dinner but we are doing to have a dj for two hours after my mom wanted us to have one so I said well lets just do two hours becuase four would be too long since its after the dinner and half the guest are staying at the other breezes so they would have to leave anyway. But I will keep you all informed.

Ireyes 07, If you go to the breezes website they have the packages on their its the same across the board at all of the breezes. When I first signed up they didnt really have packages but now they do, I'm just doing the free package and then you can add on little things you really dont get information until you contact the hotel. You can always call the number and get them to send you information. THe WC name is Christie Coley. Hopes this helps.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
