I wish I had time in the morning to make eggs...LOVE eggs. I love beans too but I'm not good at figuring out how to make them as a side? I really only end up eating them with mexican or chilli? Hate peas, lentils, etc. If I make a starch with dinner, it is always brown rice. Otherwise I just have a protein and double veg.

Eggs are delish. Did you know if you scramble an egg in a bowl with some milk, pepper, salt and microwave it for exactly one minute it cooks perfectly? I do that sometimes when I'm in a hurry and make breakfast sandwiches with the egg, cheese and veggies, if you put it in a bowl or mug it comes out perfectly round!

Plyometrics last night to start out my P90X experience? YIKES. I shouldn't have ran 5k the day before my legs were already a little sore before I started it. I forgot how hard that video is holy cow!!! I started on Day 2 cause it will work out way better with my schedule, I need monday and wednesday to be my long and hard days. I hope this works my BD shoot is in 3 months and I want to look amazing!

I've NEVER tried that!?!  I've heard of it before but never really thought it would come out any good.  I would love to be able to have a good egg sandwich before work!  Soooo much better than cereal :oP  To make the sandwich, do you just put the egg mixture in a mug for 1 min!?  I might try that tomorrow!

Congrats on getting started!!  I am doing the lean program, so we don't do plyo (although we do cardio which is a combo of everything -- we do get some plyo with that).  I still need to schedule my BD shoot!!  But that is definitely motivating me too, on top of my first dress fitting that is scheduled for the end of April.  my BD will probably be around the same time!

I did Plyo on Tuesday & it wasn't as bad as I remembered it.  Maybe because I have lost 10 lbs & its easier for me to get off of the ground!  cheesy.gif  I am supposed to do yoga tonight, but I HATE it!!  I might try it again to see if my opinion has changed any in the last year, but I will probably just go run!

I have actually noticed even in my 2nd week that I am doing better with the workouts than my first week.  I was able to do more reps and I was better with quite a few of the moves that I struggled with.

I hate like the first half of yoga! haha by 10 minutes in, I am SO sick of downward dog!!!  We considered trading it out for one of the other exercises, but we just sort of feel like he really does have this order and these workouts for a reason.  I definitely think it was perfect right in the middle of the week as far as getting the stretching, balance and flexibility in.

Good luck!!  Rather than maxing out early, try taking a break in between or doing less reps!  It is better to get the full well-rounded workout then to peak too early I think!

Yup just make a mixture like you're going to cook scrambled eggs on the stove and put it in a mug or a bowl and zap it for 1 min. And that'll give you some time to toast an english muffin or something else to put it on. I don't think it tastes any different than cooking them the regular way. It seems weird to cook an egg in the microwave lol but it works I swear.

Plyo is nuts lol my quads litterally hurt so bad right now and I'm used to working out 5 days a week! I'm so excited for my BD shoot, except my wedding isn't until January 2012 and i'm going to be soooooo tempted to give him the book early! My fiance and I are terrible at keeping secrets from one another

Wow...Day 11...I can officially say that P90X has caught up with me.  I am EXHAUSTED today.  An hour and half of yoga and I wanted to faint..I had to stop and buy a protein bar on the way home because I just felt so nutrient deprived.  I am following my calorie count on loseit.com, but I'm starting to feel like I'm not getting enough!?  I felt fine until today, and I just feel like I snapped.  Hopefully relaxing all night tonight and getting a good nights sleep will start me off good tomorrow.  I am going to make eggs tomorrow to give myself a good amount of protein to start my day.

Sorry for being negative...had to vent.. :oP  But no way I'm quitting!!!

I hope you're feeling better today! The program really does kick your ass but that's awesome you are sticking with it, that take a LOT of will power! It's definetly not good to starve yourself so I would for sure up your calorie intake if you feel that exhausted! Do you put your exercies into loseit.com too? Cause then maybe they'd up your calories on there.

Kenpo last night - - - my legs haven't stopped hurting since I did Plyometrics last week tuesday haha, good thing today isn't anything with legs I need them to recouperate so I can do Plyo AGAIN tomorrow, yuck. I did skip yoga last week too, I just don't have time to work out 6 days a week I have a full time job, a 9 month old, and we just moved...and I have a wedding to plan...I could go on lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
