haha yesterday (cardio) he was talking like arnold schwarzenegger lol

We are on day 3 today!! My body certainly feels like I should be on like day 10 haha.  My biggest challenge is that I have always had constant upper back pain, so this is only making it worse.  I am just hoping that after awhile these exercises make my back strong enough that it won't hurt anymore!

Has anyone felt like maybe they might not be able to do the ab ripper on day 3?  My core is killing me!!  I know yesterday I struggled when he had us go back into the superman/banana and the drea roll (which I really can't do lol).

Regardless, I'm excited for arms today!!

I really gotta get started on the videos. Are you ladies actually following the diet plan? I never really read any of that crap when I did it the first time.

ok p90x...

im still getting on the band wagon a bit.

i'm doing the lean program and sadly have taken this whole week  to only get through 3 1/2 CDs :( which sorta makes me feel like a loser.

i did the core synergistics the first day (i'm doing the lean program) and it just about killed me. i literally could not walk/laugh/SIT ON THE TOILET!!! without hurting. so i took off fri/sat/..and sun and mon which i should have. so tuesday i did kempo (should have been cardio but my mom borrowed the CD) and then yesterday i did shoulders and back. today i was suppose to do yoga,...but only got through 20 minutes of it before i lost interest. so tomorrow i'm going to finish that....

feeling a big down on myself but i guess working out 3-4x this week versus not working out at all in better than nothing.

I started out doing the diet but I was starting to get really angry from depriving myself of stuff I wanted haha. Now I have sort of adapted it to myself. I cut out fried foods and I try to make sure I only eat whole grains. No processed flour or sugary stuff. But occasionally I will have that piece of cake when its someones birthday at work or a margarita after a long day haha. I make an effort to make healthier choices overall and that is good enough for me.

angel366 - just stick with it! you will keep getting better! i remember the first time i did the yoga dvd i thought it would never end...

I'm not following the meal plan...just eating good.  Any carbs I eat are whole wheat/grain (rice and the occasional lunch sandwich)..double veg for dinner...no red meat (lots of chicken!).   I have been STARVING in the morning hours since I started the program!!  I am fine with just having lunch and dinner, but I wake up starving, and 2 hours after having a sensable breakfast, all I want to do is eat, eat, eat until lunchtime.  Then i'm good haha.  I just usually have fruit and granola bar as a snack in between.

Angel, at least you're doing something!! Sometimes you have to ease yourself in at your own pace.  Good for you that you're trying! Soon enough you'll be right on pace!

I have been going strong so far with my start so far!  It is really helping having my bridesmaid doing it along with me.  We motivate each other alot!

I finished week 1 yesterday and start my 2nd week tomorrow!!  I can honestly say some days are easier than others (I switched the order this week and did kenpo before legs/back..so right now my legs and butt are KILLING ME).  Today was a nice day off, and I'm looking forward to week 2!  I want these weeks to go fast so I can start seeing results to keep me going!

Do any of you feel hungry like ALL the time during the day?  I'm considering trying some sort of low calorie protein bar after my workout?  He really stresses these "recovery" drinks, but i'm so not a protein shake kinda girl.  Do any of you do anything after a workout?  and/or what are you doing for breakfast to keep you full!?!?!  I feel like all I want to do is eat from breakfast to lunch!

I now have my CD's and am going to start tomorrow!  I've lost about 15 pounds from dieting only (in two months and cheating A LOT), so now I'm ready to see what sticking to the diet and doing the exercises will do for my body.  I still want to lose about 30 lbs, but my main goal is losing inches and dropping at least 2 dress sizes.

Does anyone have advice on which program to choose?  I'm starting with the classic, but I thought the lean might be better?

yay!!  congrats on losing 15 already!  I honestly believe the lean program is best for women.  It focuses more on the cardio side of working out, and less on the muscle building.  It really isn't THAT different that the classic, but from the beginning it takes away things like working out your chest (which I honestly want nothing to do with) and replaces it with core workouts that are best for toning and slimming.

Good luck tomorrow!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
