Good luck! Day 1 is awesome! I admit to skipping yoga yesterday...got switched to the graveyard shift yesterday and had to choose nap or workout. I just got back home today, naptime so I can wake up in time to work it out before work again tonight....I hate my schedule...

I got it from a guy that sells the 13 DVD set for $50, it's $140 on amazon though.

Workouts differ, the ab one is 30 mins, most are an hour, the yoga is 1.5 hrs (which is how long yoga is if you go to a studio). I have Jillian's 30 day shred too, both are great, Jillian's always makes me sweat like crazy and good when you're on crunch time, but there is so much jumping around, my knees started to hurt. I find P90 to be a lot more tolerable and more realistic for me (and he encourages and schedules water breaks into the videos, Jillian makes you feel guilty for stopping to catch your breath)

I am debating on starting the program, I have a year until my wedding but I want to be pretty cut when it gets here :) I am already a runner, but I want more visible muscle tone. Does the program require you to have your own weights or other equipment?

My FI and I are doing P90X together which is awesome! We challenge each other and push one another when we just want to stop. Tonight we did the cardio. Holy crap! It kicked our A$$es and I love it! I'm sore but it's an amazing feeling! We're doing the lean plan, eating clean and still doing cardio , Zumba and body pump at the gym. We're on week two, day two.

Hey girls, I'm sooooooooooo happy to find this thread!

I have already gone through my 90 day lean program, and whew it was tough. I did go from 148 to 133 though. So 15lbs! BTW...I never did the yoga, I would just sub in cardio.

I now just started the classic program since I want to gain muscle and it is so hard! I find that I can't do plyometrics since my knees are bad, so I sub in cardio. I also still do cardio on the yoga days since I HATE YOGA! I actually started to notice some definition, but i'm not where I want to be yet.

I tried the diet, did anyone else? I finally just took myself off of it and stayed on the healthy track! It was getting to be expensive!

I just wanted to jump in and tell you all that you should keep up with it because it works! I feel great! Being sore will just become a part of you now. LOL! Sounds bad, but you won't even realize you are actually sore anymore since you are use to it. I love love love P90X!

I keep saying I'm going to start and never do. But the 11th is one year before our wedding date and I think that's motivation if any to try it. Plus, I like Wednesdays as a rest day. It worked well for me when I did Power 90 a couple years ago!

There is another thread for P90X in existance, maybe a mod could combine the two? :)

I'm on week 6 of P90X, my second time through as I completed it last year. I bought and started Insanity and almost finished it and moved back to P90X as it got me better results.

I'm sore all the time still even at week 6 but definitely seeing some nice definition in my stomach, arms, back and legs which is nice.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
