Short haired brides-to-be

Recommended Posts

I have short, blonde hair. I wouldn't be able to pull up the sides or put in an updo. I can't imagine growing my hair out for this wedding (I think I would go crazy), so I started looking for some hair inspiration. I'm not finding much out there.... so I am looking for some ideas from my fellow BDW short-haired ladies. Thanks in advance.

I am also struggling with what to do with my hair .. currently it's past my shoulders, but I normally have short hair & am stumped about whether I should cut it or not.

I've been saving pics of short hair styles, check them out, hopefully one will be helpful!!!

Oh dear! Ok so ginormous flowers are OUT! wink.gif

I've seen some cool short hairstyles with headbands, even with feathers .. of course I have no idea where I saw them! Grrr

Have you checked out Offbeat Bride | Wedding blog, advice, photo gallery, and links for alternative brides? There are lots of short-haired brides on there!

(you just have to search for them)

cwaters, I'm in a similar situation as you, my hair is kinda victoria beckham but more fluff, less harsh. The bridal shop kept putting long veils and tiaras on me, and every time I cringed (even an on-looker noticed). I'm thinking fresh flowers on the shorter side, may grow my hair into a shortish bob and with flower or maybe a birdcage veil.

blackcherry, great new site to check out. thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
