We got married on April 16th but I can't remember what time it got dark.  I know I just googled what time the sunset on average in April and did 2 hours before that because when I booked I thought we were having a Catholic ceremony.  We took some pictures before and it was really bright but we moved to the shade and they seem to have turned out ok.

Right now I have quotes from PSAV and JSAV.  I am actually bringing my DJ and I just wanted to rent their equipment.  So far JSAV is giving me better prices (not by much) but I guess the quotes will differ since I'm not getting a tech with my package.  I also got quotes from DJ Mannia, but like you said with the $250 extra fee, you might as well stick with JSAV or PSAV.

I wanted to just do the technician since it's so much cheaper and it's good to know as long as I have a playlist and a list of what I want/need to be played I will be good.  I just don't want to spend $1000 on an average DJ- they better be REALLY good if I'm paying that and from what I hear they try to charge you an extra $250 fee for bringing in an outside dj like dj mannia or someone else.

I used paypal. I had already set one up for other things I was buying on ebay for the wedding. It's pretty simple and protects your credit card numbers from being stolen. 

 

In regards to lighting for weddings, you can google sunrise and sunsets and there are websites that will let you know each specific day that the sunrises and sets in Cancun.  Since Cancun is on the east side the sunsets aren't amazing like they would be in Cabo.  But it still is a very pretty pink-purple hue at night.  For us it was about 6:30ish when we were eating dinner.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
