Mocha, your pictures are awesome! It looks like your photog was from Ontario and you took them down with you... we're doing the same thing, did they give you any trouble?

I assume not because they're then "guests" of the hotel, but just wanted to check...

It was pretty easy getting in the carriage. But the steps are super small so getting out is tricky. I did trip a little and you can see it in the video.

I think you should ask to be assigned to someone else. She'll probably be running from your wedding to the next one, so at least yours is first. She will be able to handle both, but I'm surprised they are so close. Your ceremony will be just ending at the time she is supposed to go to the other bride. And yes, she will only show up 15-20 minutes before your ceremony. Don't worry, you will get to your wedding on time.

Thank ladies!

My dress is Madeira by La Sposa.

Yes, our photographers stayed 5 nights. When I told Claudia that our friends were taking our pictures, she just asked if they were staying there. She never asked anything else. I'm so glad we found them, they are an amazing couple. I can't wait to use them for all our future celebrations.

Hi ya,

Just wondered, is anyone else having communication problems with Marvin?  I have been emailing him since the start of the year and all was great.  Then all of a sudden he stopped responding?  Am I being a worry wart or is this common practice for him?

Thanks

I haven't had a huge problem. He definitely goes a week or two without responding, but I just send another follow-up email and he usually responds to those pretty quickly...

Thanks for that.  I havent heard from him since March and I have probably sent 3 emails since then?  Only because I have not had responses.  I managed to get Moon Palace to let me use him for my centrepieces too as I am having special tropical flowers that we have at home in New Zealand.  Im probably just panicking and hopefully will be able to sort it all out when I get there.

We have 10 weeks to go until we fly out from London.  I am very excited but feel pretty busy right now!  Has anyone decided on their table arrangements?  I think we might just have one long table and miss the place cards so that people can sit where they like.

Katie from Zuniga is organising bamboo table runners for it and we will just have candles and short vases with white flowers.  Would love to hear if any other girls have arranged any thing funky through Zuniga?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
