oh and if people are staying off the resort, then you can purchase day passes and they will be allowed on the resort for your wedding, but have to leave by 11pm I believe

Also, if you get a room block/discounted room pricing from the resort, 80% of your total guest count HAS to stay on the reort, and up to 20% can stay at another hotel...
Just FYI.

yes good point... and i got clarity on this one that it's only 20% of the ENTIRE guest list that is allowed to get day passes.... so ENTIRE meaning if you have 20 on the resort, but 10 outside of the resort...then it's 20% of the 30 Total...not just 20% of the 20 on the resort...

I had a request to see pictures of my bridesmaids bouquets from Mayan Floral. So I updated my review with pictures of that as well as several other pictures. Hope it helps with planning. Good luck to everyone. Link to the review below

Alison! Thanks for posting more pics! I have father Aguilar too. How do you like him? Was the ceremony really and hour? I am using Marvin too, he's awesome. I am opting for his bouquet for myself too and going to use my complimentary one to either throw or use to decorate the cake table.

I'm doing the same with my flowers and just ordering my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets from Marvin.

Father Aguilar was really nice. We met with him the day before the wedding for about 30 mins and he gave us his phone number in case we backed out, and he wasn't joking either. The ceremony ran about 45 mins with 2 readings and communion. I don't know if you are customizing yours more than that. We did not do any Lazo ceremony or unity candles. It seemed like forever to me b/c I was so nervous and a bit warm. His sermon was a bit crazy and everyone still talks about it. "Marriage is like you are falling off a cliff blindfolded and then splat."
One other thing about the Catholic Chapel, it is air conditioned which is nice, however, some of our guests were sitting at the end of the pew where you are directly under the vent. Those people the air blew direct over them and they were sweating to death. Others were directly in the vent path and were freezing. So it's sort of a mix in there with the air. So if you have room, you might want to let ushers or guests know to not sit under the air conditioning unit at the end of the pew. We actually stopped in to view the chapel a couple of days before our wedding and the air was not on, wow. It was horrible in there.
Also in regards to flowers, if anyone is getting table arrangements for the chapel or reception. At the end of the reception they asked us what to do with them and I had not even thought of it so I had them thrown out I think. But what I should have done, had I been thinking, was that our parents were both saying a couple days after and had the flowers sent to their rooms to enjoy until they left rather than throw them out.
