Actually, I know 2 other brides who booked in January with me who got to use their resort dollars for extra hours. This is why I am annoyed with the MP, they tell ppl diff things. I was told I could use it on the first hour only as well.

So the $300 package is only for palace members?

On another note, for people that booked through a Palace membership, when we arrived we were informed that the bride and groom each got a free 25 minute back massage and they offered a free $300 photo package, but we declined it since we already had photographers. In hind sight, we probably should have asked if we could use it for a separate photo session on a different day (just for fun).

Does anyone know what size tablecloths Zuniga uses? Terpgurl mentioned that the round tables at MP are 72"... So does Zuniga use tablecloths that hit the floor? Or do they only come halfway down?

What about the standard white ones MP uses -- how long are those?

Thanks!

Thanks Terpgurl - It was a lot of teasing so a pain to get out the next day, but it stayed all night! I would definitely recommend Alberto. I had burnt my forehead so it was peeling horribly and he managed to completely even out my skin tone with his make up skills. It was the first time I had my eyelashes curled with a spoon!

In my contract that I signed back in Feb, yes they let me use an unlimited amount of vacation dollars towards video. I have them for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception... $1100 worth of vacation dollars

The free $300 photo package seems new to me.... as a fellow BDW bride going under a membership, I've only ever heard of free 25 min massage, free mani, free pedi.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
