If there are other Indian brides that have questions, PM me. I'll try to reply... but now I'm down to 4 months till my wedding and need to find a venue and start all over again!!

Good luck, and thanks for all of your help!

We are getting married on the 23rd of August.  We are supposed to have our reception at the Steak House too!

Who's your wedding planner?  Are you doing your reception outside?  I think that we are going to do the international buffet but on the terrace of the steak house.

getting married Aug 20th Moon Palace ...

wedding coordinator emailed today to make changes to our plans:

We had a dinner reservation at Barracuda ( Steak House on Sunrise Side) and now she says they are unable to accomodate us.

she has reccomended the Caribbean Resturant.  Anyone have any thoughts on this place ?  It has a set menu that we pick main entree...

A little disappointed about the Barracuda , and I am open to other suggestions.

We prefer not to do the buffet only because we dont want our guests waiting in line the majority of the time.

Thank for your help in advance!

Did anyone make a program for their ceremony? or planning too? I am torn on whether or not I want too..I had planned to make them using Raffia fans but now I am thinking I could either do something even more simple or not have a program and save the money! Any suggestions cheesy.gif

I'm making wedding programs. I order my raffia fans from oriental trading and they were pretty inexpensive. I'm wrapping my raffia fans in two different ribbon colors: blue and lime green. If you need program ideas, check out wedding bee. I found a very cute DIY program on there that I plan to make. They have a board with tons of DIY ideas. good luck!!

I did not make them.  It was a short ceremony and I don't think anyone was too lost without them.  I have a stack of them in my car from weddings this summer...I personally wouldn't waste the money.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
