I'm getting married on Oct 2 at 4pm.  Honestly, I'm just starting out.  I have yet to hear from my onsite coordinator so I'm flying by the seat of my pants:)  I just contact Marvin for flowers.  I know that I need bridesmaids bouquets but I'm torn on teh chuppah decorations.  I'll PM you my personal email.  Let me know where you are in the game and what you have been thinking.  I also just purchased a bunch of battery tealights too.  Oh, my wedding is small at 20 people including Pat and myself.

I just got info on this in a package from Iliana. its attached to the document. For those of you who can't open attachments just PM me and send me your email address.

Has anyone received an email from your "Wedding Planner". she says she isnt my Coordinator but that she is the planner who sets up everything and that my Coordinator will be with me once i arrive.

 

here is the email I got. just trying to figure out if anyone else had the same experience.

 

Dear  Ms. Morgan,

 

Allow me to introduce myself on this very special occasion for you. I will be your wedding planner and will be with you every step of the way. We are the second most important step towards your very special day. Once we have everything worked out, we’ll present you with all the arrangements and once we have your ok, we’ll turn it over to your assigned Wedding Coordinator. She’ll be with your during your stay at the hotel to assist you with all the detail and the ceremony, etc.

Stacey1979, just double check what you are actually getting with the diamond package.  I originally had the diamond package but changed it to the complimentary package when 1.) I knew I wasn't going to use the hotel's photographer and 2.) The decorations and set up that I saw in the pictures was not really what I was going to get.  What's in the brochure is not exactly what you will be getting for that diamond package price.  I would double check with your coordinator and ask them to send you a picture of your beach and reception set up and see if it matches what you think you are going to get.

well, now this wedding planner is saying that we can not use our vacation money for the DVD of the ceremony. what the hell?!

Unfortunately they have changed the dvd portion.  I tried my best to use the vacation $$ for this but no deal. I'm a 2012 bride

I just created a document that includes just about everything that our guests can use for with the resort credits.  I can't attach anything so let me know if you'll like to see it.  No sense it recreating something when I already have something somewhat put together.

I received an email from Lupita yesterday telling me it was $399.  I thought it was $295??  I'm going to email her about this because when I signed my contract it was $295 for the service.  She gave me a list of the things that are included but it still has me confused? Does this mean only 50 people can view the live stream?  See the email below:

 

1 hour     $399.00 USD  w/ 50 Viewing hours Included:

 

+  Personalized Wedding Webpage (Semi private w/ your personal pasword and link)

+ Viewing hours Included (50, 100, 150 or 200)

+ 30 day wedding Archive ( could you see many times your video wedding in your       personalized wedding webpage)

+ DVD Copy of the Raw Wedding (footage)

+ Email invitations (w/ link of your personalized wedding webpage)

+ Facebook Guest chat

 

And in this case we can send you a link or if you prefer you can to provide us your 50 e-mail´s guest and we can send the link for all them.

You can book the Vacation Dollar tours ahead of time but the Tours for Purchase, you can purchase when you get there. ) There are tons to choose from, pretty cool stuff.
