Hi Ladies!! I'm a Moon Palace June 2012 bride and slowing working out the details. I wanted to ask the 2011 brides if they used the photographer at Moon Palace or if they have seen any photos they took. I'm on the fence about hiring someone or just using them. Pictures are important to me so I want to make sure we get the best we can. Originally my sister was going to do it but then she didn't feel comfortable taking all of her equipment down there plus I wanted her to be a bridesmaid rather than work at my wedding. Any information would be great!! Thanks!

Has anyone used the live streaming video service offered by the MP?  I am interested in using it but I'm wondering if the stream was any good or did the people watching it experience a lot of freezing of the video.

Thanks

Great question, I'm interested in this answer too. I heard that it costs $250 but what does that include?

So, we got our room count down enough (we're paying for all the rooms) that I can do the complimentary wedding with my own extras! woohoo!!!  that being said, if there are ladies in cancun between Sept 26-Oct 10 and would like to share expenses on a fucshia and orange wedding, let me know.

Hi ladies!

I'm not sure if this question is answered elsewhere but I was wondering if moon palace allows you to use your resort credit to buy add-on's if you choose the complimentary package. If you have resort credits left over, can you use them to buy for decorations?

Thanks!

sophia56,

My Miami coordinator said no.  That we could only use the resort dollars if we were buying a package.  That being said, it seems that everyone is having a different experience with the coordinators!

I decided to go with complimentary because I just couldn't make those work and I want an outside photographer.  So, I'm shopping for used decorations now:)  My wedding size is 20 and I think that I can actually get away with paying less than a package!

onourway,

Thanks so much for your response! Yes, that's what I was told as well. I just wanted to see what other people had been told because of the high level of inconsistency. It's kind of a bummer because my grandparents offered their resort credit to be used for decorations, etc (they probably won't be using much of it). I'm having a big, fat, Indian wedding and I don't want to spend a ton on decorations.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
