I totally agree with you about saving for the AHR plus I think you get a semi private spot in a restraunt for up to 35. I can't remember the name of the one photographer I'll try to look it up and let you know but they were decently priced with not so bad pics the other was All About Photography. I havent actually picked ours yet. There was a few more too but like I said I deleted my emails lol..I just googled Cancun Wedding Photopgrahers and found a TON and just sent e-mails and they all got back to me rather quickly.

Good Morning Ladies from Gorgeous Cancun Mexico!!!

We got in yesterday evening to low clouds and LOTS of humidity, had a few sprinkles last night; but woke up to bright sunshine over the ocean.  I heard that the storm later today will be pretty fierce, but outside of my guests arriving safely, I really don't mind.  The view is spectacular and Charlie & I decided that lounging in the jacuzzi as we watched the rain over the Carribean could be pretty romantic.

I woke up at 5am because I was to freakin' excited to sleep!  :woot:

We have our meeting with the WC this morning.  I will try to put up a brief on that later today.

We got so much internal peace once we got here, most of my anxieties have disappeared.  So far the staff has been amazing.  (We forgot to research the value of a dollar here, so we haven't figured out yet what a good tip is.)   Even that phenomenal photo posted by Del Sol eased my mind.  I seriously doubt that the resort photographer is a good as Matt and company so pray for sunshine and dry conditions for Saturday, please!!!

I didn't run into this problem.  My TA set up everyone's transfer and I was under the impression that she just applied the charges to their cards when they booked their room.  If this was a problem nobody said anything to me about it.

Did anyone have a problem with single guests booking with another single guest? my TA just told me that MP will only allow 1 credit card, per room for a deposit. so, if i have 2 strangers in a room they are telling me that only one person can put down their credit card and will have to pay for the deposit and work it out in the end with the other person. sorry if that is confusing.

did this happen to anyone?

thanks again!!!!

Does anyone know if airport transfers are included? I could have sworn that I read on here somehwere that they were included. My TA is charging everyone $10 to an from the airport. I guess I think this is ridiculous because I thought it was included.

Did anyone else have this problem or know what I need to do to fix it?

thanks!!

I wasn't planning on having a bridal shower and in fact was dead set against it.  However; so many people have been askign my bridemaids to let them know when the shower is.  So, we will be having one.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
