As a favorite quote from the Crow "It can't rain all the time" and in Cancun that is more true than false at least in my experience. Don't let a little bit of rain ruin your anticipation and excitement.

NEWS FLASH.  If you hired a outside photographer at Moon Palace, please dismiss your "with the package" photographer for the wedding day... Its a conflict of interest to have that many photographers on the property and your photos will have backgrounds with wedding photographers from the hotel.   We had 5 guests yesterday at Moon Palace.   We provide 2 photographers.  Moon palace 1 video + 1 photo.    Wow,  4 photo / video crew is just overboard.   Don't let that happen to you :)

I just love this quote:

Thats what I"M TALKING ABOUT... love the optimism.

We once shot a wedding where the client used the farmers almanac to choose the driest day of the year.... RAINED hard on their wedding day... I think that was April 17th or somewhere around there.    Being a pretty tropical climate, storms come and go and we have had very unpredictable conditions in the Riviera Maya... It just rained for 2 days, prior to that 4 -5 month drought.  seriously, no rain at all during that long time mostly all year long.

June - November are suppose to be the months with the most rain, who knows.   just know u can't control anything.

if it rains, enjoy it thorough your photos :)

When we left for our wedding (on a Tuesday) the forecast for that Saturday was 80% chance of rain.  It didn't rain once while we were in Mexico...which was two weeks.  It can always change!

Yes it was very windy.  I couldn't wait to take my veil off.  I think you trade off the privacy of not being in the middle of a bunch of hotel rooms for some wind.  I guess it just depends which you would prefer.  I wanted it to be as close to the beach as possible without actually being on the beach.  It made for nice pictures.

Good question! I'm curious as well! Does MP allow thermal cups- I am thinking about getting personalized thermal cups or bubba kegs for everyone.

Congrats to all the newly married ladies!!

Does anyone know if airport transfers are included? I could have sworn that I read on here somehwere that they were included. My TA is charging everyone $10 to an from the airport. I guess I think this is ridiculous because I thought it was included.

Did anyone else have this problem or know what I need to do to fix it?

thanks!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
