From reading tons of other MP brides, I believe they will put your wedding inside in one of the ballrooms. :o)

Hi Angela,

I was told by the spa that, yes you can use your vacation dollars.  The cost I was given for my hair, makeup, pedicure, and manicure was about $133 US - not sure how the costs break down.  You can ask your wedding coordinator to give you the contact info for the spa manager to ask specific questions.

Angela, I booked my hair and make up with palace dollars and was told $87. We have manicure and pedicures included with our membership. Here is the 2011 price lists that the spa sent me. I suggest booking your appointments in advance, the emails are [email protected] or [email protected]

Booo - I don't have permission to open attachments.  But thanks for the info!

I seriously can't get over how cheap it is compared to here.  We are doing hair trails so we can take pictures with us and they will be over $50 per person I'm sure.

Does anyone have a name of someone at Moon Palace who does hair / makeup - that is good??  I've seen several bad reviews on this forum.

I have been looking into having someone from the outside do my hair/makeup - but a) I can't get a reply from Fernando and B) Doranna (the other person recommended by Del Sol) wants $330 total for this.  That price just sounds pretty darn ridiculous.  She also wanted $50/ea for my 2 little girls - for a super-simple 'do.  I will do it myself for free thank you.

Anyhow.. does anyone have any thoughts or have seen other posts on this?  I'm trying to find some info that I have previously read.

Thx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
