Kydall, they don't include these in the site information they send out.  It is a roof top terrace.  If you look for Vgril's moon palace review, she has a few really nice pictures of it.  It is beautiful, but from what I understand, they charge an additional 12 pp fee for the roof top terraces.

Mine is Janina, but i haven't really spoken to her.

Hello Mp brides of 2011 I too am getting married at the mp cancun 11,01,2011! iam so excited but havent been to the resort yet. Iam also getting married on the beach but havent seen many pic of people getting married on the beach yet.

Hi Mssanders! I am getting married there on 11/4/11, so we will be there at the same time.  Here is one link that I found that shows the beach wedding, but if you just go to google image, trip advisor, and on Moon Palace reviews, I am sure you will find more.  Congratulations!

Hi ladies!

 

I just wanted to post a quick reply on here and share some of the info I have. 

 

I am getting married 2/13/11 at 3 p.m. on Capilla Beach, then we are having our cocktail hour at the Venado Garden and reception on the Venado Terrace.  We chose the Sapphire package.  All of our flowers are going to be real touch (with an exception of the bouquet and boutonniere provided along with the package, which we will find some use for, I'm sure.).  I ordered the majority of my flowers from Angel's Accents' online store, where she sells individual stems, since she was already booked through April by the time I found her three months ago.   I really, REALLY recommend Angel's Accents for anyone who is considering doing real touch.  We have booked Sascha Gluck as our photographer for the wedding day and a TTD the next morning.

 

I was working with Janina as my Miami-based coordinator, and I was contacted by my on-site coordinator, Valeria, a couple weeks ago.  She has sent me the buffet menus, DJ packages, extra services packages, honeymoon breakfast options, private event spaces, etc, so if anyone wants me to email any of the information I have received, PM me with your email address and I will send on to you. 

 

Also, I wanted to add that I had a hard time trying to figure out how to book a "girls day" at the spa or something for my bridesmaids and myself to go get manicures or what not together the day before the wedding, so I wanted to share that I found out that the best person to contact is Reyna Nunez (renunez@palaceresorts.com), in case anyone else is looking for that info!

Yes, it's a 12.00 per person set up fee.  I have a picture of it, but from what I hear the pictures does the terrace no justice.  Vgirl is a friend of mine.  I spoke to her the other night and she said it's one of the best places to have a reception at the Moon Palace.  She has stayed at the Moon Palace 3 times.  It looks over the beach and infinity pool. 

 

I asked my WC how far of a walk is it from the Tucan gazebo to the Carribean Terrace.  She it's about 3 minutes.  So, it's close.  I was sure to reserve these spots based on the recommendation of Vgirl, when I decided to get married at MP.  She knows her stuff!
