I finally got my contract sent and I am getting married May 29th! I did ask for Kalena as my WC and they got her but when I asked Miami to give me her email address, they wouldn't give it to me since they said she will contact me 3 months before my wedding. I am nervous b/c I want an indoor reception . . . . I wonder if I should bug them more?!?!?!

What's everyone doing about flowers? I have 8 BMs and that can get really expensive for flowers . . .

I am having 5 bridesmaids and have been thinking about the flowers as well.  One of the reviews I read mentioned ordering the flowers from a Cancun florist and having them delivered to the resort.  I think I will look into that option.  Does anyone have a pricelist for flowers, cakes, entertainment, etc?

How much is Deco Cancun quoting you? Depending on my exact number of guests for centerpieces, I might just do tealights and then ask my BMs to put their flowers in vases on the tables to get 2 uses out of the flowers!

I want to use an outside vendor too but I heard it's prohibited and even if you lets say get them a day pass, they might have a hard time getting into the resort with the flowers.

I don't remember which review I saw this in, but they just ordered like 3 dozen assosrted pink roses and made their own bouquets.  I think they found a video on how to make bouquets on You-Tube.  So, really they will never know that it is an outside vendor, it just looks like someone sent you flowers!

Hi.

Congratulations. I had the vacation dollars applied to my wedding package on my wedding contract. Before they would apply the vacation dollars, they have to confirm that you had paid for your hotel stay.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
