After much searching for a makeup and hairstylist for my destination wedding in Cancun on November 7, 2015, I booked Fernando from Makeup Pros to do my makeup and his partner Gama for my hair. From the time I reached out to Fernando, he was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. I had a trial for makeup and hair with Fernando and Gama the day before my wedding which worked out perfectly since I had my welcome dinner the same night. At the end of the trial, I loved the results of both my hair and makeup and they even changed up the look for my welcome dinner so that I would not look the same for the wedding day. Fernando and Gama are true professionals and know their stuff!! They work quickly and confidently and require little to no direction. Trust in them and you will not be let down! My sister, niece, mom and I were so happy with their results and couldn't have asked for more. We have never had our makeup done to this level...it came out so natural and looked stunning. I was married at the Azul Sensatori in April 2015 (sorry of the extremely late review). I wasn't sold on the salon because I had heard mixed reviews. My wedding planner had mentioned The Makeup Pros. After speaking with Fernando, my was decision was made. He was a pleasure to work with a very responsive to all my emails. He even came to the hotel to meet me a few days prior to the wedding. I didn't do a trail run because I didn't feel like I needed one. Due to my hotel not allowing outside hair and makeup vendors Fernando arranged a bus to pick me and my ladies up and bring us back to the hotel after we were finished. They picked us up on Saturday morning, they let us bring wine and champagne and even put it in the freezer for us when we arrived so it would get cold quicker. Fernando had another wedding that day so I worked with his partner Julius and their team. I loved the results of my hair and makeup, they did a phenomenal job on everyone. There were 11 of us total and I believe we were in and out in about 3 hours. They are absolutely amazing. We all looked stunning. It was just what I wanted. If you are looking for talented, professional people to do your hair and makeup on your special day, book The Makeup Pros, you will look amazing. so all i can say, is that Fernando and Gama went well above and beyond my expectations for my wedding day and trial make up and hair! Booking someone without meeting them prior to the big day, feels like a big risk. But for any brides that are considering using the make up pro's, they were amazing. We did my trial the night before my wedding, and then they switched up my hair and make up so that people didn't see the final look until the big day. I had several people that wanted to get their hair and make up done for the wedding day once they saw the work that was done. In fact 2 of my bridesmaids that didn't not want their make up done, changed their mind the day of the wedding and had Fernando work his magic!! So they started earlier to fit all the additions in. His work was flawless.....and didn't feel heavy or caked on.  Also he was fantastic to work with.  As others have said -feels like you are having your hair and make up done by a good friend.  Not to mention he was looking out for me, told me to remove my bra straps while getting ready so that I didn't have any marks on my shoulders as my wedding dress was strapless!!   Would totally recommend!  Gracias Fernando!!

I just had my wedding on July 22nd, 2016. My hair and makeup was done by the Makeup Pros and Fernando. Fernando is the best make up artist in the area. He made all of my bridesmaids look like a celebrity. His partner who did hair was SPECTACULAR as well! They both are amazing, laid back, know what you want even when you don't! I had a challenging bridesmaid who couldn't describe what she wanted, she had three different hair dos before it was all said and done. They were super accommodating and made everyone look incredible. If I had to do it all over again, one of the things I would NOT change would be my hair and make up from the Makeup Pros. If I had to give a rating from 0-10, I would give them a 100!

Fernando was absolutely amazing!! He did such a good job on my makeup. He did a trial run for our rehearsal dinner which I highly recommend. We trialed out my makeup for the day of and he did something completely different for the rehearsal dinner. People I had asked earlier if they wanted their makeup done and had said no decided to get their makeup done on the wedding day! Not only did my makeup look amazing and stay all night, but Fernando was so much fun to talk with. I felt so relaxed having him help me get ready and he made the getting ready process so much more fun! I cannot recommend him enough! 

 

Camila who did my hair did such a great job!! She also did a trial run for the rehearsal dinner of what we would do for the wedding and did something different for the dinner. I was very happy with my hair and it held all night as well. Both services were wonderful!!
