Phil (photophil steingard) has mentioned this on the majestic colonial brides facebook group.  I would suggest bringing a portable ipod dock or something and Phil gave the impression that it is no problem!  I probably wouldn't mention it to the WC since theyd probably want to charge for something LOL j/k  you may want to find out if there are any evening weddings that may be taking place at the gazebo on your day, otherwise I expect you would be good to go!

MINI FREAK OUT!  We had a contract on rooms ready to go and then decided not to do that and have everyone book on their own. Now, every search engine and what my travel agent has available is only the adults only Elegance Club!! Most of our guests would be ok with that but at least one will be with a child (wedding is February 2012) and cannot stay on the adults only side...Is anyone else having the same problem? My TA doesn't know if they just took the rooms back or if they are sold out, she is waiting to hear from the resort for more information. Please let me know if anyone is experiencing the same problem!

We are in Minneapolis, MN. Our wedding is at the Jellyfish on Feb 3 so we figured most guests will go Feb 1 to Feb 5. My aunt did find a regular room at ME through cheapcaribbean but now they are not available. Our TA has been using funjet as a supplier. There defiinitely are Elegance Club rooms (which people might just have to suck it up and pay the extra! some were already planning that or have already done that)  We have been behind the game on things and only recently sent out our invites (although I have been keeping everyone up to date via emails)

Ok, now regular rooms are back on online travle sites such as orbitz, expedia and travelocity! yay! I think our TA still only has access to the adults only side, some contract deal, but at least I know there are options out there for others (of course most of our guests booked last week after the resort told us that the resort was full for January and no regular rooms were available for our dates!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
