Sandals Whitehouse (Jamiaca) - Resort photo packages

Recommended Posts

Hi there! I was married at Beaches (which is sandals sister resort)

and we didnt purchase a package through Beaches I thought they were overpriced.

We hired an outside photog. But I did purchase 6 images from Beaches and it was $130. I thought that was pretty crazy!

We did end up getting the videographer, which was $500 for the most basic package and I think in the end it was worth it but still pricey.

And if you do not hire one of the their photog... they do take a la carte pics!!! So dont let a TA or the wedding planner tell you different!

We were able to negotiate the price of the CD pictures with the manager from the photo shop because we were not happy with the overall quality of the pictures. However we did buy approximately 40 of the CD pictures that we were able to edit and print. We also did a photobook through Shutterfly for my parents and in-laws which they loved. I would recommend waiting until you get there to choose your photo or CD package. You can do what I did, purchase the smallest photo package that includes the album for $150 and select the CD pictures that you like. Good luck!

Michele.
Thanks Michele for the reply. Great advice. Thinking we are going to wait until we get to Jamaica to pick out our package. We are not going to book the 1200 package, would like more along the lines of 300 for photo's! Thanks again! Your post was very helpful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
