Hi Everybody! I'm getting married at Dreams Cancun in June and the communication I'm having with the coordinators is not going so well. I understand that they don't help you much until the day gets closer, so I was wondering for those fellow Cancun brides to help me with this = ) I was wondering if anyone had a symbolic wedding there? If so, can you please tell me what they say ? Is there anything I need to bring as for sand? candles? Any help will be wondeful =) !! 3 months to go = )!!! So excited!!!!!

I am also having a symbolic wedding at the Dreams Cancun in June. Don’t worry we all feel the same way about the communication.. Slow and frustrating. But you can get A LOT of the info you are looking for from other brides on the above posted page. If you would like to do a sand or candle ceremony you will need to bring your own supplies for that and just ask you coordinator to add it into your ceremony. We have chosen to do the sand ceremony but not the candle for the Gazebo is very windy and we did not want to have any candle issues. I hope this helps and welcome to the board!

Hi Ladies!

I am also having my wedding at Dreams Cancun on June 27.. I am having trouble getting in touch with the wedding coordinators as well. I have some questions if any of you can help me that would be fantastic!

Photographer/videographer did you guys use Juan Navarro? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Adding and extra our to reception: I was quoted $15 per person plus taxes. It seemed very steep due to the fact that I have 75 people going. The extra hour does not include anything just the location.

Also are any of you using the florist they have in house or do you have any suggestions on florist out of the hotel.

Thanks for your help!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
