MysTea thanks for the heads up about B&BW semi-annual sale. I didn't get a chance to get the room sprays recently when another bride posted they were on sale hopefully I can pick them up then!

Wondering how far ladies have gotten with buying their dress items for the wedding, like your shoes, jewelry, veil, hair accessories, etc. I have my dress and I have one pair of shoes (I'm still looking for "the" shoe). But that is as far as I have gotten....

How are you guys doing a symbolic? Are you hiring someone from your resort?

We're still not sure if we're gonna do a symbolic, but the resort provides a minister regardless of whether we want a civil or symbolic wedding. We had to pay a minister fee when we signed the wedding contract and this applies to which ever ceremony we choose.

Teal and coral look great together. I think I've seen other ladies use it and comes together nicely. You will look great! I still haven't decided veil or flower. I think I want both! LOL! Still looking for a second shoe...one with color. I was hoping to find a nice strappy sandal in eggplant or purple. We are less than 5 months away!!!! So exciting, but I am beginning to feel the pressure now.

Hi Janine! I've actually gotten pretty much everything I need. I have my earrings(bought from a bride on here), my hair flower, small purse, dress and shoes. The shoes were exactly what I was looking for and found them on ebay. Well I don't know if they lied to me about the size cuz they are at least 1 full size too big. I can't afford to buy new shoes so I'm trying to figure out how to make them work. My feet do swell in the heat so I'm hoping that will make them fit. I only need them to get me down the aisle BUT I really love them and wish I could wear them again msncry.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
