Hey ladies!!! So I really need to get back to being on here as much as I was in the beginning! I cant believe there is only 46 days till the big day..YIKES!

So I have really been slacking with planning. :(  So much to do still.......

NEED:

to start the programs

to get my dress altered

to put together welcome brochure

to buy swimwear and honeymoon lingerie

wedding jewelery

wedding decor

OOT bag items

hairstyle for me and girls

pick out flowers

reserve entertainment for cocktail hour

get the GM suits (my FI is more of a slacker than I am)

buy a new tie for FI suit

pick out shoes for FI

make place cards

plan group excursion

get teeth whitened

etc....

So far I have:

picked up my dress

ordered shoes

ordered guesbook

ordered totes for OOT bags

received BM dresses and shipped them out to the girls

booked photog and make-up/hair

booked spa services morning of wedding

picked out menu for reception

booked sound system

reserved ceremony and reception location

Ordered luggage tags to mail along with a pre-travel brochure

picked out earrings

picked out gift for MOH

booked welcome dinner

and I think thats it. I feel like Im still missing a lot more. Only 1 1/2 months to go and still lots to do!! Hope everyone is doing better than I am! :)

Don't worry I think all of us have been on here less and less as the time winds down and we get closer and closer to our date. I still need to find a tie for FI and the groomsmen. I haven't printed my programs or menus yet. I have them typed on the computer but just not printed.

Everything else is pretty much finished.....oh I'm still waiting on my bags and water bottles from discountmugs cause they messed up my artwork.

So...I took my dress yesterday to get "let out"  and i have to wait to see the alterations Mgr. Tues to see what she can do because they said there may not be enough fabric to get it taken out...*sigh* I asked them what about getting the next size up...They said they could order but it wont come until the 20th and I leave on the 27th....cutting it tooooo close.....I hope they can do it...They said it would be an even exchange..( fingers crossed it IS!)

I still need:

-To get Pashminas for OOT

have no idea for MEN yet (that was FI's task!) was gonna order MUGs but he said no....smh..

-mail out pre travel brochures this week!

-Get Fi's suit altered and he still needs shirt

-Get Nephew's suit altered ( ring bearer)

-buy Nephew OOT stuff

-Need wedding jewelry.. I saw a cute blingy headband in Davids Bridal but I'm not sure I want to spend $200 for it!

- Need to buy more Clothes!!! ( as I can only fit some of the dressed I bought and the shorts don't fit at all!! smh.)

-Need to print Menu's and Other misc templates and monograms things from My PC

-Make a run to Michael's for more Ribbon

-Have a Makeup trial @ MAC

-make Personalized ( Ken's Bride) track suit/Something Blue Undies

-Get candles/Votives from Ikea

-Get halloween Costumes

UGGHH....I feel like there is sooo much more and Im sure once I start putting things together I will find something...

So I went to the dress shop last night and the mANAGER ( WHO WAS AWESOME!) was able to find a brand new dress ( IN STORE) that fit, it was one size up...and because it had a little room it was perfect!  She told me to come back in 2 weeks to see how the dress fits and then at that point if she needs to take it in a lil she will! And although there was a price difference with the larger size...she exchanged it FOR FREE! Yippeeee!!

Phew! one less thing to think about!smile29.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
