If any november brides are still looking to plan a honeymoon and their dates are flexible and they are open to location

I have some rooms available in Punta Cana Dominican Republic at the Paradisus Palma Real for $115 per person per night for the reserve suite class.

Some of my guests booked early and are not going anymore so I wanted to pass on this information to other brides. The rooms at this hotel go for over $200 per person and more for this room category.

dates are from 11/18 to 11/23.

If you are interested, please PM

MysTea I haven't gotten my pic of my flowers yet. She is waiting for the mums to come in. I should have it soon though....you know as soon as I do I will post a pic. Now what's this about you dragging your feet? I bought my luggage this weekend (FI has had a really nice set and I wanted a complete set of my own.....damn luggage is expensive?!?!).I finished my survival kits this weekend and I also tied the ribbon around the flip flops. Still waiting for my water bottles....come on discountmugs!!

I am dragging my feet because I still havent put anything together for my bags, and i still need toget my ceremony playlist together, print my welcome letters and oot tags and all that jazz, tie ribbon around my fans, ugh...get fi's suit tailored, shop for my toiletries and start putting stuff into my luggage... Bought it a few months back.

Oh MysTea, you'll be fine!!! Just think, all the BIG things are pretty much done. It's just the little things that we probably could finish up in one weekend. But I know what you mean, that list of little things just adds up. In less than a month you'll be marrying your hubby barefoot on the sand :)

I've got to email our wedding coordinator EVERYTHING about the wedding this weekend. That's gonna be frustrating. After months of showing them and asking them about certain flowers, centerpieces, menus, locations...now I finally get to put it into one file and hope that it all goes to plan. Plus they are always pretty non-responsive so when I ask for a quick response it takes a week. Ugh! I'm hoping me and my fiance agree on the menu items.  What do you girls think about doing a buffet instead of sit down dinner?

We are still doing a private dinner, buffet costs the same - BUT you get to pick out twice as many items (3 apps, salad, soup, 2 entrees, dessert) instead of 1 of each. I always feel like buffet food doesn't taste as good for some reason but I'm sure when they are serving 80 dishes at the same time there would be problems with that too (cold plates, vegetarians starving). Hmmm....any suggestions?

So its official my WC at our hotel has resigned. I still haven't spoken to the new one yet but I'm not worried. I can't worry at this point. I packed one of my suitcases today, the largest one. It has all of the OOT bags and the items for the bags. Hubby is out of town so I took these past few days to really organize stuff. I put together all the survival kits and stapled the tops on them. Slowly but surely its all coming together.

wow you are packing already! I went for my psudo first dress fitting, the dress is so low on the back that any strapless bra shows! sad.gif man its stressing me out. Latest thought is just to cut the bra and saw in the front part right into the dress, I am really not sure as how that would work, but going without just looks horrible!! why dont they tell you to think of these things while you are shopping? sorry to vent, just I love the dress, wasnt really into shopping actually, but loved this one, its simple and just what I was looking for. But the tops is just so urg!! sorry its like 30 days till we leave and I havent even started alterations - not much is needed though thank god. Ok thanks for the vent ladies, its lunch then gym time.

Yup I have one suitcase entirely packed Boo. I picked up my dress today. Actually where I bought my dress they do ask you about bra option ahead of time so that they can sew in cups for you if you want or padded cups, etc. I had regular cups sewn in. I brought home my dress and hid it in the wedding room....thats what I call one of the guest rooms that I am using..."wedding room". I told FI from today forward he is not allowed in that room. I know he won't go looking though cause he just isn't the type, he wants to be surprised the day of. I got a chance to put it all together today at the bridal salon, shoes, dress, jewelry, even my clutch. Now I feel like Mimi73 cause every chance I get I go and peek at my dress, but I haven't been putting it on. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I am so in love with it, I can't wait to wear it. In less than one month we leave!!!! Ok back to me printing out my programs...Ciao!

Hey Boo,

Have you thought about getting the sticker bras? They are not the best....and probably not an option if you have big breast, but I used them before for my prom, and my sister is going to use them with her BM dress.... I know our local drug store (Shoppers Drug Mart) sells them....You just kinda have to hold ur boob up as you stick it down and then they hold pretty well....GOOD LUCK!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
