IcedCoffee,   you will have to share your pictures when the time comes. I am also at the 10 A.m. slot.     I will have a few pictures taken in the water but not alot just the typical laying on the beach etc.  I am also not a size 0 or anywhere near that!  I just hope my guests are not standing on the beach watching might be a little uncomfortable stradling the groom with the mother in law watching lol.

Hello Everyone!  I am getting married at Couples Swept Away September 3, 2011.  I'm so excited!  I had the same experience as several of you...I was contemplating Sandals until I saw a post about Couples Resorts and fell in love!

 

I plan on doing Trash the Dress and splitting the photographer's time between two days.

 

I can't wait to see everyone's photos!  Do you all know what colors you plan on having for you wedding?  I still haven't decided.  I want an "Island Fairytale" theme, but trying to figure out what look to go with to make that a reality.

My bridesmaids are wearing fuschia,  and the groomsmen are wearing choc brown linen shirts and beige linen pants.  so my colours are fushia, brown and a hint of orange. My theme is starfish.

Our wedding colours are turquoise, coral and white. We aren't having a wedding party so the colours are really part of the decor and little details...

Ladies - got my dress recently and I thought you'd like to see it. It's pretty casual but I tried on everything from big ballgowns to drop waists and this dress was so much "what I pictured myself in" on the beach vs. a more traditional gown. It's Alfred Angelo 2171.

your dress is gorgeous! Is is light ? I tried on so many dresses and I finally went with a chiffon ivory gown, with crystals similar to yours! It will be very pretty when you walk down the beach!

@Marlena - thank you! it is very light, but there is a layer of crinoline under the skirt. i think i want it removed, but i haven't decided for sure yet. if it's not there, i'm afraid it may be too clingy. i'll have to do some research, we'll see! chiffon is so pretty. my dress is ivory as well.
