MrsLowUFO - I am May 5. I feel like it will be here before we know it!

JRs - There are pictures/reviews of the spas at Couples in the Couples Resorts Message Board. Have you been there yet? Lots of good info! I am planning to get my hair done at CSS for my big day. From everything I've read, they do an amazing job.

Iced coffee- I feel the same way. I don't think anyone can do my makeup like I can lol. I think Im just going to go to like a MAC counter and get a makeover right before the wedding and splurge on some good makeup. As far as the pics Ive seen on the hair done at the resort, they all look very good. BTW when is your big day? Are you going to couples swept away 2? Im still trying to decide when to have the ceremony, I swear everyday I wake up I change my mind on the time. I just don't want it to rain since I am playing so much for a photographer to take beautiful pictures. ALso, any thoughts on "trash the dress"???

I am going to go to sephora and have them do my makeup and then buy the products that they used. (my son gave me a 75.00 gift certificate for there I am sure that will cover an eyeshadow lol), I have no idea what look I even want at this point. I am taking my son's gf and she will do my make up for me when we are in Jamaica.

I had planned on doing TTD the next day but my photographer would require me to pay for her hotel room (couples has a 3 nite minimum, so they would have to stay somewhere else) and then couples was going to charge me on top of the already 500.00 vendors fee an additional 100 per photographer to come back the next day. So I have decided just to have a few shots done in the water right after the cocktail hour.  I wish I could afford to have her come back the next day so I would not feel rushed but its not in the budget.

I am doing my ceremony at 10am, since it seems like the least chance of rain and it's only my fiance and I so I don't have to worry about guests not wanting to wake up early. I read somewhere that the sunset ceremony is not worth the extra $. JRs...I am not sure what to tell you! It seems like the most popular slots at 10am, 11am, and 4pm.

My wedding is 5/5/2011 at CSS.

SunStarsMoon - You will be able to get more than an eyeshadow for $75! I love makeup (and I buy the good stuff, lol) and you will be able to buy your whole "face" for that much. That was a nice gift!

I am still unsure about TTD. I am totally up for it, but I think I might be self conscious of my dress clinging to me. Lol. That probably sounds weird, but it's the only thing holding me back. I'm not exactly a 0! My photographer would be willing to do some TTD shots, so it's just up to me and what I decide.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
