I was wondering if anyone has any experience at the hair salon at ASP? I've read somewhere that their styles are outdated and they don't speak english. Has anyone been there recently and used this service? I have a picture I already would like to do, but I'm also open to some creativity...only if it doesn't make me look like I stepped out of an 80's movie!!

 

I'm trying to decide if I should just do it myself...So, any news would be helpful!!smile41.gif

Hi,

I'm getting married at ASP and have decide to skip the inhouse hair dresser and bring in someone from the outside. I don't know much about the in house hairdresser, just read one review on this forum and she said they used too much hairspray and made her hair crunchy. good luck!

Just got married there Saturday the 20th... I had my hair done at the salon...

hmm what can I say..I had picture with me too..and I do speak some spanish...but the women kept telling me.. let me do let me do while I was telling her how I wanted my hair..in end it came out really pretty... and I can send you a pic if you like..but I had like 70 hair pins in my head...and by the end of the night...the hairdo still held up... but what a bleeping bleep to get all that hairspray and pins out and they tease it too ugh what a mess!! Also, my pic was going for the softer curls updo..and its not really what she did at first it looked like I had ribbons on my head..and as I was sitting in the chair I wrote to my WC on my blackberry and basically told her to get her tail over to the salon... by the time she got there...the hairdresser was practically done...if you do get your hair done there...I would recommend the OTHER hairdresser..her name was Hugolina... and she did my bridesmaid dress...and it came out really pretty with softer curls... let me know if you need any more help...hope this helped you..

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
