Thanks for the sympathy! Yes, at least I did it. I have to go tomorrow to do day 3 for week 2, I feel like I missed a lot of workout days this week.

SNOW! yuck, I'm hoping we're done with snow, but I think that might be too much to ask! Don't get derailed, you can still get 3 days in this week. I know we're supposed to do them every other day, but I don't always get to, depending on my schedule.

I did week 3 day 1 and OH MY GOSH!! I was able to do the first rep of 3 mins but by the time I had to do it again towards the end I could only do about a minute and a half before I had to start walking it out. It's been a few days and I haven't been able to hit the gym due to my family being in town but I think I might have to do week 3 more than 3 times before I can move on to week 4.

On a side note... what kind of shorts are you girls running in??

I've gone through every different pair of undies and shorts combos and I can't find something that I'm not digging out our pulling down!

I bought some Champion running shorts that are okay. The Nike Tempos were HORRIBLE because the panty stayed in place but the shorts were riding up like crazy!!!

I started week 3 day 1 today as well. It was for sure a bit challenging but I am finally feeling like I am getting back in my running state of mind. soooo that is good.

as far as shorts, can't help you there, I always wear the champion (from target I think) brand of capris

I started yesterday!! I'm not going to lie it was rough. I'm in such horrible shape and being a smoker my lungs were not happy with me!!

However, I made it through. I'm a little sore today but it feels good. I wasn't going to do two days in a row but my BFF wants to start today and its supposed to rain tomorrow and Tuesday so I'm going to push and do day 2 today!!

Keeping going girls you're all doing great!!

way to go girls! you're all doing amazing!

Erika - I secretly love running in the snow. It keeps my body cool so my heart rate doesn't max out, and usually no one else is out there except for me and a few other crazies...so it makes it feel like even greater of an accomplishment. My trainer always says that running in the rain/snow/non-ideal weather conditions builds character lol

Cathy - for the shorts part, I'm zero help. I bought an awesome pair of light weight adidas capri's that I just love running in. I always had the same issue with shorts as you mentioned so I gave up about 3 years ago and now I run in capris or long tights.

I finished week 2 today. I didn't have time to get to the gym so I went to the track at my old high school instead, because it was close to where I was headed afterwards. I LOVED running outside. It's not like it's the first time I've ever run outside, it's just been awhile and every other time I've done it, I didn't have my ipod, so it went by really slow. Today went by super fast and it was the perfect temperature so I wasn't overheating, it was great!

I know I can't make it to the track everyday and I don't know how I feel about running in my neighborhood, but I think I'm going to try to make one of my runs everyweek outside.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
