Just married and back home after a beautiful wedding at ROR!

Recommended Posts

Well, I just wrote an entire review, didn't save it, tried to post it, and POOF! it disappeared! UGH! BUT even so, it isn't ticking me off too bad because our wedding was WONDERFUL!!! It was February 5, 2010 at 4pm on the beach under the hoopa (not the gazebo), and it was everything I wanted it to be. Emotional, so special, and beautiful! I checked this website almost everyday during the months before my wedding because like most, my DH and I had never even been to Jamaica! Every review and every picture I saw on here helped to calm my nerves a little more. Just let me say quickly that the resort, the staff, the food, Nikki (and Chandlyn), the flowers, the music, the ceremony, the reception all met and exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have asked for anything more. My husband and I are so very happy with how everything turned out. Huge thanks to Nikki (the assistant WC at the ROR) who we worked with for everything wedding, who was as cool as a cucumber through everything and absolutely wonderful, patient and helpful. Future ROR brides, do not worry about a thing! We had 19 in all in our group and everyone had a great time! Those who didn't stay the whole week with us all kept saying they wish they'd had more time there. My email address is krista5231@yahoo.com if anyone wants to look me up on facebook or email me so I can see if I can send you pictures. I will do a full review and post pictures on here as soon as I can and as soon as I figure out how!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
