Hang in there tenny you can do it!!! The last few pounds are always the hardest to lose, usually if you cut your calories too much then you wont loose weight, snack throughout the day and exercise more, and yeah def cut out carbs at the end of the day, eat your carbs in the morning, breakfast is the largest meal, and dinner should be your smallest. And if your like me you always crave a snack before bed lol, def dont eat before you go to bed.

To me this seems counter intuitive, but actually research shows that the time of day you eat has no bearing on weight gain. If you're craving something before bed then have it. But agreed on all points that never starving yourself, snacking throughout the day so you don't feel deprived, and exercise are all the way to go.

Wow I am so happy to have found this thread! When we first started with the wedding planning back in April/May I was SO motivated to eat healthy and workout, and then we ran into some glitches with the planning so I hadn't even been on BDW again until yesterday. Finally got the request for the wedding date put in for March 2011, which made me realize HOLY S*** our wedding is in 8 months!!! I don't have a lot of weight that I'd like to lose, 10-15 pounds at most, but like many of you the thought of a dress store right now makes me cringe! My FI was supposed to be my workout/healthy lifestyle buddy as he wants to lose a little weight too but he is the most unmotivated person in the world and has no interest in getting started, which brings me down! So I'm soo happy to have found ALL of you to be my motivators!!!!

My goals for this week - drink more water, workout at least 3-4 days, focus on healthy eating!

Hi Everyone,

I am loving this thread. I would like to lose about 30-40 pounds. My wedding is in march so i think this is realistic? about 2 pounds a week? So say by about november i can have lost at least 25-30? I have been thinking about the Jillian 30 day shred. seems like it has good reviews. Plus i have been going to the gym 3-5 days but on the weekends my eating is horrbile! sad.gif I hope you guys can keep me on track :)

All right ladies I'm back in this whole "lose my love handles" game. FI and I BOTH started our Wedding Diet today...we're going to start working out, too. I've taken the last month off of dieting, but somehow have maintained my 20 pound loss (by some miracle!).

But now, have another 20 to go, and only 4 months to do it!! I want to be at my goal by November so I can get my dress altered.

I wish all of you (and myself!) luck...we can do it!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
