Ok gals..tell me what happens on the weekend..seriously I want you to confess..what makes you eat different, or who, or where ? Tell me why you start to eat and what you eat..!!

Here's a suggestion - for the chocolate lovers..drink a chocolate protein drink...fills you up and gets rid of the sweet craving..the only reason your craving at 3 o clock is because you didn't eat enough protein during the day..it's all mental. Proteins fill you up.

Weekends should be stress free, when your body can accept a workout, when you can show the most control. With me during the week is tougher because I skip meals.

Eat for the day, not the week. If you mess up, do more cardio.

Let's start from the beginning...

Evil Foods -- Anything Sweet!! and Mayo..seriously, I can't give it up..

Problem - Motivation!  I am really struggling with getting motivated, and have always had that problem.  I know I need to get fit and tone my body, but I have been so tired from work and being so busy that I just don't go to the gym.  I'd always rather relax so I don't completely drain myself! I also think I have told myself that my wedding is so far away that I can just 'wait' until it gets closer.  Plus, because I am not big to begin with, it becomes discouraging because it takes awhile for me to see results.

What I am doing now -- I cut out bad carbs, I don't eat potatoes or white bread.   I also do not eating red meat.  I do eat wheat rice and the occasional whole wheat sandwich thins.  I have been replacing dessert with yogurt at night to curb my sweet tooth.  I do think these things are already helping.

What I am going to do this week -- GO TO THE GYM!!!  No matter what it takes, I will go this week.  My FI and I have a membership to the same place, but he is never the one to say "let's go!"  So it's easy for me to stay home.  I am going to make it a point for us to motivate each other.

Yes, it was the Booty Fitness Camp that is women only. I know they are expanding into the U.S. and highly recommend if there are any in your area.

Here's a question on another note, have any of you noticed that you've lost weight in your fingers too?  When I first went ring shopping with my FI they sized me at a 4, but then when he proposed 6 months later with a loner ring (they had to special order the one we wanted) it was too big. So we got it in a 3.75, but now that is feeling too big too!  I'm not complaining about the weight loss, don't get me wrong, I'd just rather lose it in my gut than my fingers, they weren't fat to begin with!

And to answer the other question:

Weight Now: 125

Target Weight: 112

Wedding Date: 4/25/11

Evil Foods: This is a hard one, cause I go from craving salty to sweet and back again. I've started baking a TON and using all natural ingredients and have to give a lot away so I don't end up eating it all.  I wish I didn't find such comfort in baking, I enjoy it too much.

Problems: Consistency.  I've been doing the Jillian 30 Day Shred, but that gets boring sometimes, so I switch it up with her No More Trouble Zones and Boost Your Metabolism. And then some days, since I mostly work from home, I just get into work for hours straight and run out of time.

What I Am Doing Now: I'm counting calories with the Livestrong app on my iPhone (again, consistency is a bit of a problem, some days I lag on that) and I've cut calories down to the amount it suggests if I want to lost 2lbs per week (which I don't see happening, but it's a good way to limit my intake). And as I said above, I'm working out with DVDs almost every day and when the weather gets nicer again, the pup and I will be going for hikes.

What Am I Doing This Week: Since the FI is out of town, I'm using the extra time to myself to work out consistently with DVDs.  I have a coupon for a free 3 day gym membership, I may try that out just to change things up.

Keep up the great work ladies, you're all an inspiration!

I am going to participate as well. I hope I can have different results the next time I write a post in this thread...

Consistency with my eating habits is the biggest problem. Also, I don't think I eat the proper foods that will keep me "full or content" for more than 2 hours.

Currently I go to kickboxing twice a week, and I do strength training and an interval workout twice a week.

It's only a few days left in this week, but I'd like to take a close look at what I'm actually eating- maybe keep a food journal and until I realize what I'm actually putting into my mouth.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
