Need to tone up this tushy for 9 days in a bikini LOL.  One day at a time.

go to "on demand",  "free", "health and home", then "exercise tv" and pick "jillian michaels" or whatever on is on the menu that you would like to do.

Hi ladies!  I am joining you here for a little extra support.  I'm getting married Dec 3, 2011.  I have lost 30.2 pounds since the beginning of this year and got engaged a couple months ago.  Now I need the support and motivation to really kick it into gear to lose at least another 30.  I have put off dress shopping because I don't want to feel gross being chubby in a white dress.

30.2 pounds lost!!!!  That is something to celebrate for SURE!!!!  woot.gif

How did you do it?

I Have to lose around 30 too...and I did my shopping (scared to DEATH I would feel exactly how you described)...BUT I am happy to say I felt nothing of the sort!  Its kind of weird.  I looked pretty darn good in some of them... ;)

I went to a Naturopathic Dr. on Friday and am starting a cleanse on Monday.  I had already started one, but this one is to help me balance my hormones.  Hope it works....

:)

Well, I am doing it the "old-fashioned" way.  Making sure I don't eat too many calories, drink tons of water and trying to fit in at least 30 minute workout every day.  I did really good for 3 months, then kind of stalled/got distracted.  I am trying to stay motivated and I find it hard.

What type of cleanse do you do to balance your hormones?  Sounds very interesting.

I'm back! I started healthy eating and exercising 6 days a week for 1 hour a day, back in February. Parties, giving in to binging and tirelessly exercising without the scale budging made me want to give up. BUT... I didn't! I stopped the binging however, would allow myself one cheat meal a week and stepped up my cardio.

Today, I'm down to 149lbs, from 157lbs. It doesn't seem like a whole lot but I can definitely see and feel the difference. I look a lot slimmer than what I weight and that's because I gained muscle, which will burn fat and makes you look leaner and toned. My clothes fit so much better. I've also tried on all of my dresses since I have weddings, bridal showers etc... lined up and my dresses fit and look Fabulous!!

My friends and family have all noticed that I've lost weight and all comment about how great I look. I mentioned how I'd like to lose another 12 lbs and one of my friends stated I should stay where I am because I look great and then I'd look too skinny. Well.... I disagree. LOL I'm happy that I'm finally seeing results and I'm looking forward to losing 12 lbs more.

With that said... DON'T GIVE UP LADIES!! You will get there! Slow and steady weight loss is not only the healthier way but you will maintain for the long run :)

Great job on the weight loss so far!!  Just don't get stuck on a particular number.  Its a good goal but don't get too focused on it because 8 or 10 might do the trick - especially if you are gaining muscle.  Muscle weighs more than fat so if you lost more weight you might be losing the hard earned muscle you just gained.  And as you know muscle burns more cals so you'd want to hold on to that.

Keep up the good work and its always great to hear other woman succeeding!!  pinkie.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
