For me...I have just 2 weeks left of Insanity and I'm very happy with the results so far.  I don't weight myself often because my weight doesn't mean anything to me.  I do take measurements and I've lost 2 inches around my thighs which is my problem area.  Clothes fit better, abs show thru, I'm leaner all over my body and much stronger.  LOVE IT!!!

 

I believe my dress comes in this week so I am very excited to see how it fits.

Hi Mwise!!

 

I think your wedding is before mine... I have a little under 2 months before I leave! I'm about 5 pounds give or take from my goal weight, which isn't a lot I know and even though the weight is plateauing right now... I know the inches are coming off because i'm taking my measurements with a tape every 2 months. The dress is already at the seamstress to be altered I will be going for the fitting first week of november... super excited! I think I started having a hard time to lose the weight when I started getting negative comments that I was losing too much weight, or that it wasn't loking good etc... but recently these people have changed their tune and they are giving me compliments, so maybe they realized how their comments affected me.. who knows.  Can't wait to show you all how great my dress will fit the day of! ( Or atleast I hope it will look great!)

 

How about you, are you at your goal is your dress ready???

Thats great!!!  You have PLENTY of time!!!!  I am glad that your friends/family started to pay you the compliments you deserve, I know how that feels when they don't say nice things...."your too thin" "you look sick".......I am not down as low as when they normally start saying that to me (usually around 145 lbs) and trust me, I don't look sick, just very healthy!  I'm only 5'4 damn it!  :)

 

I am def. before you, hahhahaha...I leave in 13 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIKES!

My goal was to be down 5 more pounds then what I am right now.  I think I can do it, I am committed and its doable! 

My dress is in the 1st alterations stage....I go back on Tuesday!  It looks SO much better then when I first tried it on, and my arms/back are so much more toned and look great!  :)

I am down 35 pounds since January and fell amazing! 

BRING IT ON BATHING SUITS/WEDDING PICS!!!  I'M READY!!!!!   woot.gif

13 days!! Woohoo 13 days.. that is so amazing.. talk about butterfly in the stomach and last minute preparations! Your dress must look amazing on you since you started toning up! I can imagine you will look amazing! You seem to be very determined and motivated so i'm postive you will lose the last 5 pounds you need to .... crunch time .. and no time at all it will be time to be departing on your destination wedding!!! How excited.. i'm getting excited and mine is only 2 months away.. but when you've been planning it for the last 14 months.. 2 months doesn't sound so far away!

 

Good luck and can't wait to see your big day !! Yes bring on Bathing suit.. hmmm maybe even a bikini??? Why not! You worked hard and deserve it!

Its 2 days now....hahhahhaha...where did the time go???   Thank you, I feel great...and bought all bikinis....trust me, didn't think this day would come!!!!  :)

 

I am down 3 more pounds since the last post...I am happy with my final numbers!   (am all sweaty writing this as I just came home from the gym).lol

 

How has it been going for you?  stay motivated, it will pay off in the end.

I finished Insanity last week and feel so good about it.  But now I feel lost LOL.  Everyday I am trying to decide...do Insanity, go to the gym, go to hot yoga....decisions decisions.

I have my BD shoot this weekend so I hope all the hard work shows in the pictures.  Gotta keep it up though.  I leave in just 4 weeks!!

Hey Ladies...

 

So I'm in need of some extra motivation with my wedding now being under 3 months away! Yikes!  Its funny how you plan and plan for months and then all of a sudden it seems to sneak up on you!  

 

So I posted ages ago that my goal was to lose 30lbs for my wedding in January.  I did really really well initially and the first 10lbs came off pretty easily.  Then of course, I lost motivation and took a bad food and no work out break!  What was I thinking?!?  I've been back on track for the last month, but the weight is creeping off SO SLOWLY!  I'm now only down a total of 15lbs from my starting point, and my goal of 30lbs is starting to seem out of reach.  I'm working out 5 days a week cardio and weights, and eating super low carb (no breads, pastas, rice, etc) and sticking to lean protein, fruit and veg.  I even got through Canadian Thanksgiving without a single cheat.  I just wish the results were there! 

 

I don't mean to complain, because I know that I have accomplished something, but its so frustrating to get on the scale and not see any movement!

MWise!! You are leaving really soon, Congrats on your total accomplishment.. it's fun to realize that when we set our minds to something we can actually achieve it!! ( And don't we know that it ain't easy when it come to weight loss!) I can't wait to see some pictures of you looking hot hot hot in your wedding dress, good luck with your last minute preparations and hopefully it's not total chaos at home to scramble and get the last minute things done! ( Which I believe my house will be when it comes to crunch time lol) Enjoy yourself, take time to soak everything in.. once in a life time... and all in all you should really be proud of yourself! Talk 2 u when you get back !!!

 

sxct, have fun and good luck your your BD shoot, i'm confident that  you will look smashing in your photo shoot and your Fiancé will be forever greatful to receive such an amazing gift! Funny how the Insanity has finished .. but it hasn't stopped... we still don't know what to with ourselves... (  yoga, gym, running... arghhh decisions decisions)!

 

Busybee hi! 15 pounds down that is a great accomplishment, don't get discouraged everyone hits a moment where they plateau or the weight comes off in .5 increments!!! Maybe you are working out too often and not giving your body enough time to recuperate... or maybe you are working out so much that you are gaining a lot of muscle which weighs more than fat! Whatever you do .. don't be too skimpy on those calories per day ... if you aren't eatiing enough your body will start conserving what you are eating and storing it as fat! What you are eating seems to be really good .. however it's the quantity maybe that's not enough... just a few ideas for you ... I don't pretend to be an expert but these are all things that I have done also in the past and have backfired on me too. Good luck and keep us posted on your success!!!

 

As for myself, i'm down to my goal weight and then some .... 3 pounds less than what I had hoped for ... I can't believe i've actually reached it and I have some time to spare! I wanted to lose around 55-57 pounds .. and i'm down 60 pounds exactly ... now my problem will be figuring out a way to maintain it and not continue losing... I don't want to stop working out .. cause I really love it and it makes me feel good.. and I eat quite a bit ... mostly healthy and my stomach has shrunk quite a bit .. because I can't consume as much food as I used too .. i'm full really quickly ... anyhow... one day at a time and I will figure it out .. as long as I don't gain any weight I should be fine! Can't wait to try my dress in early November once the alterations are done!!! Yeah!!

CONGRATS on surpassing your goal weight!  You are amazing and an inspiration to all of us on here!  That's incredible! Such an accomplishment!  You must feel so good about yourself!  WOW!  Good luck with your dress fitting and be sure to share some pics with us! ;)

 

Thanks so much for the moral support as well!  You were exactly right!  I think part of the problem was that I just wasn't eating enough.  My stomach had shrunk and I just found that I wasn't hungry...it only took me a few bites to feel full.  So I got stuck in that cycle thinking that the less I ate the more I would lose.  Clearly it wasn't working.  So I've started to add in more small snacks like nuts and veggies and I've already lost another 2lbs!  Ironically, I've been working out less this week too cause I've been having awful migraines with the rainy weather!  Who would have guessed!  Maybe I am building up more muscle than I thought?!  So all in all I'm down 17lbs total!  Here's hoping I can still get down to my goal of 30lbs!  Will keep you posted and thanks so much for the motivation! :)

I'm sure you will look amazing in your BD shoot!! Remember to think sexy thoughts....It's for your husband!! LOL Let the pictures speak for themselves. I gave my husband my BD book as a wedding gift and he was very pleased! He was so pleased with it, he showed his best men!! LOL The best part of it, is that the photographer captured all of their expressions. It wasn't staged. It was priceless!! Here are the pics:
