Okay I am posting because I feel like I have to be accountable to someone lol and writing it makes me feel like I am??? I am almost 3 months out and all the talk about losing 15 to 20 pounds before my wedding is not working out. i was so motivated a few months ago i was going to zumba and really making time for myself and eating right and i was down 10 pounds and getting some strength and definition but then i went on a CRUISE last month and although I worked out everyday while I was there and only gained a pound I got into terrible eating habits again (buffet and dessert everyday was a terrible choice a few months before my wedding) and since I have been back i have not done one single strength training excercise or a zumba class ugggh. and of course my obsession with this website and making projects coupled with christmas shopping after work has left me exhausted and feeling like shit about myself so I want to get back on the horse even though i just ate a ring ding and tomorrow I am going to zumba and sunday i will resume my strength training. I have to stop staying up all night on this website so maybe I could workout in the AM......

Thanks for listening. My FI is tired of the same complaint about how miserable i am everyday lol

oh don't I know this fight.......its the worst, but my only advice is just JUMP BACK IN!!!!!!!   It is the only way you are going to reach your goal and feel better (the best part is, you'll feel 1000 times better right after your first Zumba class!!!)!!!!

Its the worst feeling, "the hole" thats what I call it, when you are unmotivated, and can't seem to get back into the swing of things.

Also, the exercise and proper eating go hand in hand, I am sure once you start back exercising, the desserts and buffet cravings will give way to "what?  if I eat that ding dong, its the equivalant of 3 Zumba classes!!!!".....

:)

You can do it.....one Zumba Classa and one strength training session at a time!!!!!!  :)

Just thought I would leave a little note on this thread since it helped me quite a bit during my wedding preparation! I had set a goal to get fit and lose the extra pounds that 2 kids had on my body. I was determined and I have to say that I have never been this fit in my life. I have been skinnier however never this " FIT", which really does make a difference. I didn't starve myself at all this time and I followed the exercise program I was given and it worked like a charm! Following MWises' lead here are some before and after pictures, it was hard to find a picture of me from head to toe but here is one of me in 2010 and beside it is one of me during my wedding week. Hope it can encourage some of you brides out there and I am proof that it can be achieved! :o)

Hey!

Anytime...you put in the work, and you got results...:)

I gained 7 pounds (booooo)....however, I just found out I am expecting!  yeahhhhhhh!

but am not far along enough to say the 7 is from baby.

I just added bread back into my diet (oh how I love thee) and I also wasn't working out half as much, and throw in the xmas holidays...but I just started bootcamp again (taking it a LITTLE easy due to being in my 1st trimester) but am still working hard. Also, Chris is the bootcamp instructor...lol...so he doesn't go easy on me.  I will be doing that 3x a week ....lets hope I lose some of that additional weight

Its hard to keep at it, but I am sure like me, you started to enjoy the exercise, so we have to keep at it as a stress reliever/our time as much as keeping the weight down!

:)

GOOD LUCK!

:)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
