After two months of exercising 6 days a week, the weight is finally starting to come off!! I did some research and from what I've read, my body hit a plateau. So now i'm fighting back!! LOL  I've pretty much got rid of carbs and sugar. For snack i'll have sugar free jello or sugar free pudding. Once in a while if i'm craving for something, I don't deprive myself, I have it. If I want a cookie, I'll have it. However, it's not often that I get these cravings. It's usually around that time of the month. I've stepped up my cardio.... Call me crazy but I now do "Insanity" twice a day whenever my schedule allows. LOL I guess you can say i'm "Insane"?!?!

Hey diamond, when my body hit that plateau i hit cardio hard core, didnt change my diet so much but did much more intense cardio, not so much MORE cardio but i stepped it up alot...that made a dif. for me.

Ok you girls will think i am crazy but i lost interest in going to the gym.,....URGG...thats cuz my body really changed the last month and I am 5'6 and approx. 116 pounds.......so many ppl tell me too skinny, I lost my boobs.... so i DONT wanna lose anymore weight in fact i could prob afford a few pounds ( i never thought my body would drop 18 pounds)...soooo anyway I kno i need to maintain now, but now i dont have this "GOAL" so i lost my drive........and cant find it again.

anyone ever struggle with that???? Once you reach your goal you stop going to the gym??

So excited -- I had originally ordered my dress a size smaller back in November.  It finally came in this week, and I was super nervous to try it on because although I've been eating really well and working out 3-6 times a week, I've only lost five pounds since January.  I tried the dress on and it fit perfectly!  I don't even need alterations except for the length!  Hope this inspires some of you who, like me, have worked hard but feel like they haven't seen results.   It does pay off, so stick with it!  It is VERY true that it's how you fit in your clothes, not how much you weigh.

My fi and I just started a diet together a few days ago... It is high protein and low carbs, and low calorie depending on the day of the week.  It is 6 weeks long and I'm worried once we're done I will just gain it all back.  Is anyone else dieting together with their FI?

I agree... Stepping up my cardio definitely made a difference. Within the first week and half of increasing my cardio, I dropped 3 pounds. As far as not having this "GOAL" your goal now is to maintain. After all of the hard work, don't throw it away.

Are you doing the 6-week body makeover?! FI and I want to try this diet but I'm afraid of the same thing...gaining it all back! How's it going so far? Hopefully it works out well for all of us. *crossing fingers*

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
